His shot was straight at Kinsky but the ball managed to bounce through the goalkeeper's hands, with Villa having carved Spurs open after 57 seconds.   Shearer did not let the 21-year-old off the hook on BBC co-commentary, branding it a 'howler' and claiming he 'had to do better'. 'What on earth is he doing? ' the former striker asked.    In fairness to Kinsky, he did make a number of important saves in the first half, including from Leon Bailey and Morgan Rogers. I've just seen the pressure and weight of the Tottenham team culminate with him (making an error). 'It's an emotion. He just wants that ball away from him. There's no doubt he can save that ball, but he wanted it away from him and rushed it. He's a good goalkeepr with great potential. ' Most Spurs fans would say Kinsky has stepped in reasonably well after signing to cover for the injury of Guglielmo Vicario. Drafted in from Slavia Prague, the Czech star had a memorable debut against Liverpool, making six saves against the league leaders in a 1-0 Carabao Cup win in early January. But like his Spurs team-mates, he has had some difficult matches, as he did in the reverse semi-final leg against Liverpool, which Ange Postecoglou's side lost 4-0.   Praising Kinsky last month, Postecoglou said: 'Whenever the goalkeeper is involved whether with or without the ball, it's a key moment. His ability to fit in really quickly has helped us enormously. '  Tottenham hurried through a move for Kinsky in January because Vicario was ruled out for three months with a broken ankle and Fraser Forster was struck down by illness. He has been tipped for a great career in his native Czech Republic.   Joe Hart said that a nervous Kinsky 'just wanted the ball away from him' after the mistake The 21-year-old has even acquired a seal of approval from former Chelsea and Arsenal 'keeper Petr Cech. 'I remember the moment when Antonín Kinsky was still playing for the national team at under-16. A game when we watched him and when we scouted him for our own club [Chelsea], ' Cech told The Telegraph.   'You could see that he was strong, with his legs, you could see that he had a good starting position and he was actually helping the team at the back to launch attacks. 'Of course, he comes from Czechia and that comparison will always be there. But I think it’s important that he makes his own way. Radek Cerny already made a good impression at Tottenham.
