By Harry Bamforth Ruben Amorim, Man United boss, speaking to the BBC: On facing Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester in the fourth round: By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth I feel like I am saying the same thing about Arsenal again, and again. The Gunners just can't put the ball in the back of the net at the moment, they are toothless in front of goal. They had 26 shots over the 120 minutes today, and seven of those were on target. With numbers like that, you simply have to convert more than one of them. Compare that to Manchester United who only had seven shots at goal in the whole match. This transfer window could be huge for Mikel Srteta, he simply has to go and get a striker. Or if not, Arteta needs to find answers within his ranks because what they are doing now is not working. Before they know it, Arsenal's season could drift away. By Harry Bamforth Let's just take a look at the fourth-round draw in full: By Harry Bamforth Bruno Fernandes, Man United captain, speaking to the BBC: On Altay Bayindir: By Harry Bamforth Oh dear. .. This is not the news that Arsenal fans will have wanted to hear, so I am sorry to any of you who are left. Gabriel Jesus went off on a stretcher in the first half and it sounds like he will be out for some time. Mikel Arteta has stressed that he does not know how bad the injury is, but it's 'not looking good'. With all the attacking injuries Arsenal have, that is not what they needed at all. I also feel for Jesus who had finally returned to form but now looks like he will be out for a while. Football can be brutal, can't it? By Harry Bamforth Alan Shearer, former England striker, on BBC One: By Harry Bamforth Bruno Fernandes was brilliant today, doesn't he? He has come under a lot of criticism this season for lacking leadership skills, and his performances have not been good enough. Well, he looks back to his best now. Fernandes was brilliant at Anfield last week and once again tonight he shone in the midfield. His goal to open the scoring was one hell of a finish. To hit it as sweetly as he did when it was bobbling toward him was special. Fernandes is the joint-top scorer in the FA Cup since his first game in the competition in March 2020. Only Kevin De Bruyne has been directly involved in more goals, than Fernandes' 14, in the same period. The United skipper has his swagger back! By Harry Bamforth Joshua Zirkzee must have been so nervous walking up to this spot kick. For him to take the fifth penalty after the last few weeks he has had, takes some real character. But not as much character as sticking it away with confidence to win the tie. A few weeks ago it looked like his United career could be over after being substituted in the first half against Newcastle. Now it looks like it has just got kickstarted. By Harry Bamforth Altay Bayindir, Man United goalkeeper, speaking to the BBC: By Harry Bamforth Now that is a very painful loss for Arsenal. We have spoken about their dire need for silverware and now one of their better chances to secure some have gone. Arsenal have lost five of their last six FA Cup ties, and have now been eliminated from the competition in the third round in back-to-back campaigns for the first time since 1995/1996. I mean, that's a shocking record for a team the stature of the Gunners. Now it looks like the likeliness of Arsenal winning a trophy this year is pretty low. They are 2-0 down in their semi-final against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup and are six points adrift in the title race. Is the Champions League now their only hope? I mean, with how they have been playing that would take a miracle. By Harry Bamforth They always go so quickly, don't they! Well, the draw is over and there are some tasty ties in there, my standout is Aston Villa vs Tottenham. Plymouth vs Liverpool is also a brilliant tie, imagine Wayne Rooney was still in charge. Are you happy with your team's draw? By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth An all-Premier League tie! By Harry Bamforth Huge tie for Plymouth! By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth Ohhhhh. .. tasty. By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth It didn't take long for them to come out, eh? By Harry Bamforth Martin Keown, former Arsenal defender, on BBC One: By Harry Bamforth Right, no rest for the wicked, it's time for the fourth-round draw! Manchester United have sealed their place in it and now I think I should show you who else has. Here are the ball numbers to look out for: 1 Southampton or Swansea City 2 Manchester United 3 Exeter City 4 Leyton Orient or Derby County 5 Burnley 6 Aston Villa 7 Brighton & Hove Albion 8 Manchester City 9 Millwall or Dagenham & Redbridge 10 Liverpool 11 Wolves 12 Preston North End or Charlton Athletic 13 Chelsea 14 Blackburn Rovers 15 Bournemouth 16 Mansfield Town or Wigan Athletic 17 Tottenham Hotspur 18 Doncaster Rovers 19 Stoke City 20 Leicester City 21 Plymouth Argyle 22 Coventry City 23 Newcastle United 24 Everton 25 Wycombe Wanderers 26 Birmingham City 27 Leeds United 28 Nottingham Forest 29 Cardiff City 30 Ipswich Town 31 Fulham 32 Crystal Palace By Harry Bamforth Altay Bayindir, remember the name! The Manchester United goalkeeper didn't have many fans after his performance at Tottenham a few weeks ago. Well, he certainly does now. The Turk performed exceptionally in normal time, saving a penalty to keep his 10-man side in the match. And then in the penalty shootout he was the hero again. This could be the start of a brilliant career for Bayindir at United. If I was Andre Onan, I would be worried. What a performance. By Harry Bamforth Joshua Zirkzee steps up to win the tie for Manchester United. .. AND HE DOES IT! The 10 men of Manchester United beat Arsenal on penalties to secure their place in the fourth round. Five perfect penalties sends the Gunners packing. By Harry Bamforth Thomas Partey has to score. .. or Arsenal are out. And he scores, and now the pressure is back on United. By Harry Bamforth Here comes Lisandro Martinez. That's four out of four for Manchester United, he sends David Raya the wrong way. United are nearly there. .. By Harry Bamforth Declan Rice has to score for Arsenal, he simply has to. And he does, brilliantly. Altay Bayindir goes the right way again but Rice finds the side-netting brilliantly. Arsenal stay alive. By Harry Bamforth Leny Yoro makes no mistake from the spot! United have a two-goal lead in the shootout, that is huge. .. By Harry Bamforth Kai Havertz is up next, he is usually good from the spot. He stutters and his spot kick is saved by Altay Bayindir! It's another brilliant save from the Turk. By Harry Bamforth What a penalty that is from Amad Diallo! By Harry Bamforth Martin Odegaard steps up next. He missed in normal time. .. but this time he sends Altay Bayindir the wrong way. Great penalty, and great character from the Arsenal skipper. By Harry Bamforth Bruno Fernandes puts the ball down on the spot and takes a few large steps backward. He stutters. .. and sends David Raya the wrong way. As cool as you like! By Harry Bamforth Advantage, Manchester United! Bruno Fernandes wins the toss and the spot kicks will be taken in front of the 8, 000 travelling United supporters. Will it make any difference, maybe not, but it's a small psychological advantage. There was a huge cheer from the United end when it came clear. Bruno Fernandes will take first. .. . By Aadam Patel At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth We are going to penalties! An incredible performance at the back from Manchester United has kept them in this game until the very end. We all wanted penalties, and now we have them. The drama will continue. I can't call it, can you? By Harry Bamforth This is now or never for Arsenal. They have a corner as we enter one minute of stoppage time, this is their last chance. Gabriel gets his head on the end of it but yet again the Manchester United defence clear. I think we are going to penalties. By Harry Bamforth This Manchester United defensive display has been heroic. Now Noussair Mazraoui puts his head where it hurts to get the ball clear, it's a brilliant header. They have put their bodies on the line tonight. By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth The Manchester United fans in the corner are having a brilliant time. Their side are so close to serving all the way to penalties, despite having 10 players since the 60th minute. It's been one hell of a display from those in blue, it really has. They have just three minutes to try and see it out now. By Harry Bamforth Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. .. Jorginho has taken a knock and he can't continue which is a monster blow for Arsenal. He would have been one of their penalty takers, almost certainly. Instead, he is replaced by Kieran Tierney, who I forget even plays for Arsenal sometimes. .. that's how little game time he gets. By Harry Bamforth Manchester United are really going for this now! The 10 men keep hitting Arsenal on the counter and this time Noussair Mazraoui charges forward. He then clips the ball into the back post and Amad Diallo flies off the ground to meet it. It's a decent header but it goes agonisingly wide of the post. By Harry Bamforth Guess what? Yep, that's right, Altay Bayindir has made yet another save. He is on absolute smoke today. This one is a little more comfortable than the others as he collects another Decland Rice header. By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth David Raya may have just kept Arsenal in the FA Cup! The Spaniard produces one hell of a save to get low and deny Joshua Zirkzee down at the near post. He does so well to react to a small deflection, get down, and push it just past the post. For a second, I thought that was in. By Harry Bamforth 15 more minutes to go. Who will go through, Arsenal or Manchester United, or will it be penalties? We are about to find out. .. By Harry Bamforth Alan Shearer, former England striker, on BBC One: By Harry Bamforth Manchester United are 15 minutes away from survival. Declan Rice forces another save from Altay Bayindir with his head on the stroke of half-time. United are holding on, and they have made the break. Can they make it all the way? By Harry Bamforth There will be just two minutes of stoppage time before the break. I've got to say, Manchester United have done so well considering they have only 10 men. It feels like they have 11, that's how well they are playing. By Harry Bamforth Harry Maguire can leave the pitch with his head held high. The defender is replaced by Leny Yoro just before the break in extra time, and what a shift he has put in. Now it's the young prodigy's chance to shine. By Harry Bamforth HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN? It's another Arsenal miss from point-blank range, this is really getting ridiculous now. Or wait, it actually looks like Matthijs de Ligt clears the ball from a yard out, that is incredible. At first, it seems like Leandro Trossard somehow misses from point-blank range, but in actual fact, it's brilliant defending from De Ligt. Still, it's another big chance that has gone begging. By Harry Bamforth Thomas Partey is on for Jurrien Timber. It seems Mikel Arteta has given up on using defenders and it's just all out attack now. I mean, they have an extra man so it makes sense. By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth Altay Bayindir has certainly learned to deal with corners now. The Turk had a mare at Tottenham in December but yet again he manages to deal with a Declan Rice set-piece. He is comfortably my Man of the Match, by some way. By Harry Bamforth This Manchester United defence have been superb tonight. Matthijs de Ligt is putting in his best performance in a United shirt, he is throwing his body on the line for the badge. This time he takes a dive to get in the way of Declan Rice's effort inside the area, and what a block it is. If United manage to make it to penalties, De Ligt will be a big reason for it. By Harry Bamforth There are so many empty seats as this extra-time gets underway. Have people had enough, or did they not realise that the break was only a short one. I hope it's the latter because the atmosphere was electric in that second half. Hopefully, it picks up again now. By Harry Bamforth Right then, here we go again. Both teams have made some changes as they enter a massive 30-minute battle. Leandro Trossard has replaced Myles Lewis-Skelly for Arsenal while Tyrell Malacia is on for Manuel Ugarte for the visitors. Anyway, the ball is rolling again. By Harry Bamforth I moaned about not having FA Cup replays earlier, but this is a game where I'm glad there isn't one. This is actually a real rarity for these two sides. This is the first meeting between Arsenal and Manchester United in the FA Cup to go to extra-time since the 2005 final. Want to know how that one ended? Well, the Gunners won on penalties following a 0-0 draw at the Millennium Stadium. Will the same happen again? By Aadam Patel At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth To extra-time we go! Arsenal and Manchester United can't be separated after an enthralling second half of football. I didn't want that game to an and on this occasion it won't just yet, this must be the first time I have ever wanted an extra 30 minutes. Let the entertainment continue! By Harry Bamforth Altay Bayindir is having the game of his life! The Turk produces another brilliant stop to deny Arsenal right at the death. Declan Rice cuts inside and arrows the ball toward the bottom corner, but Bayindir is there to deny him. What a 30 minutes he has had! By Harry Bamforth Oh dear. .. Arsenal are starting to get a little desperate and Jurrien Timber has just epitomised that. The Dutchman decides to have a crack from 30 yards out and it harmlessly rolls wide of the post. The Emirates falls silent. By Harry Bamforth By Harry Bamforth There goes the whistle. It was far from easy, but Newcastle survive an early scare to book their place in the fourth round. Second-half goals from Anthony Gordon and Will Osula made it fairly comfortable in the end. By Harry Bamforth Ohhhh. .. there is going to be seven minutes of stoppage time. That is certainly enough time for Arsenal to get a winner, but will they manage it? If not, extra-time looms. By Harry Bamforth Job done for Ipswich. Three first-half goals seal their place in the next round, and it was a fairly run-of-the-mill afternoon for them. A good day at the office. By Harry Bamforth OH MY WORD. .. WHAT A SITTER! Kai Haveertz has his head in his hands because he has just missed one of the easiest chances that will ever come his way. The ball drops to him three yards out and he somehow boots it over the bar. I am in disbelief, how has he missed that? By Harry Bamforth Joshua Zirkzee, I was not familiar with your game. The United forward has been getting tons of heat recently but he has just shown what he is all about. Zirkze does brilliant to dance past three Arsenal midfielders and take them out of the game before sending through Amad Diallo on the break. Diallo races toward the box before pulling it back to Zirkzee who follows him, but the Dutchman's shot is blocked. By Harry Bamforth This game seems to have finally calmed down a little bit, which is not quite as entertaining it. I mean, it's given me a bit of respite so I am quite pleased. .. not that I am trying to slack off. I do hope we get a late winner though, this game deserves one. By Harry Bamforth Ruben Amorim is switching things up for Manchester United. He makes a triple change as Amad Diallo, Joshua Zirkzee and Toby Collyer enter the fray. Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, and Alejandro Garnacho all make way. Pretty much like-for-like all around. By Harry Bamforth How are Arsenal not ahead? Altay Bayindir is having a blinder and he has somehow just denied Decland Rice the Gunners' second. The ball is clipped over to the substitute at the back post and he gets a great head on the ball. It looks destined for the beach of the net but Bayindir yet again gets a hand on the ball to tip it over. Incredible. By Harry Bamforth And breathe. .. Those last few minutes were absolutely mental, I was finding it hard to keep up. After what was a terrible first half, this game has exploded into life in ways I did not expect. Who knows what is going to happen next. By Harry Bamforth WHAT A SAVE FORM ALTAY BAYINDIR! The Manchester United keeper comes to the rescue to keep his side in this game. Martin Odegaard steps up and arrows the ball toward the bottom right corner, but Bayindir somehow stretches far enough to get a hand to it. That's an incredible stop, it really is. By Harry Bamforth IT'S ALL KICKING OFF! There is a huge melee for some reason and everybody is at it, it's carnage out there. Harry Maguire is having to be held back after as coming together with Kai Havertz following the decision. What is happening? I actually don't know, it's just chaotic. All In know is that this is a throwback to the old rivalry between these two, I love ab it of needle. By Harry Bamforth Ooooooo. .. Manchester United are throwing this game away as Harry Maguire gives away a penalty. Kai Havertz turns past him and then goes down before the referee points to the spot. United are in trouble now. By Harry Bamforth Oh, it's all Arsenal now. This place is absolutely rocking now and the hosts are feeding off the energy. Mikel Merino looks like he is about to turn things around but his effort inside the box takes a deflection and goes over the bar. This is going to be a long 25 minutes or so for United. By Harry Bamforth Instant punishment! Arsenal make Manchester United pay with their first attack following the yellow card. The resulting free-kick goes to waste initially but is then recycled by Gabriel Martinelli. He sends a ball into the box and it comes out to Gabriel who decides to have a crack. The half-volley takes a huge deflection to wrong foot Altay Bayindir and goes into the net. The Emirates goes crazy! By Harry Bamforth Ohhhhhhh. .. . Diogo Dalot, what are you thinking? The Manchester United full-back has just thrown Arsenal a lifeline with a massive moment of stupidity. Already on a yellow, he flies into a challenge and wipes out Gabriel Martinelli. He begs and begs to not be booked again but it's not long until the red card is out. , A huge moment in this game. By Harry Bamforth Newcastle are running away with it now. What a way to score your first Newcastle goal as William Osula rifles the ball into the far corner. That should be that now! By Harry Bamforth The yellow cards are racking up for Manchester United. Kobbie Mainoo is the fourth Red Devil to get booked tonight after he stops play restarting. They need to be careful, they really do. By Harry Bamforth How are Arsenal not level? ?? The ball falls to Kai Havertz perfectly in the area and you just think he is going to score. But the Arsenal forward completely mistimes his effort and shanks it comfortably wide. I can't believe he has missed, and judging by the look on Havertz's face, neither can he. Will he rue that miss? By Harry Bamforth Arsenal are straight on the attack, they want to respond instantly. They pin Manchester United back in their penalty area and Raheem Sterling sees an effort blocked. That goal is exactly what this game needed, strap yourselves in guys, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Game on! By Aadam Patel At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth WHAT A FINISH! Manchester United take the lead against the run of play and it's a brilliant goal from Bruno Fernandes. They defend a set-piece well and then hit Arsenal on the counter with Alejandro Garnacho breaking down the right. He slides a lovely ball across the box for Fernandes who then bends the ball powerfully into the top right corner. That's a huge goal for the visitors. By Harry Bamforth Jeez, Manchester United are putting in some hefty challenges. Diogo Dalot is the latest United player to get himself a yellow card after a late challenge. This gives Arzenalo a good set-piece opportunity down the left, but they have been rather useless from them today. And yet again, the resulting free-kick is rubbish. By Harry Bamforth Newcastle have turned this game around. Eddie Howe brought on Anthony Gordon at the break and he has already made the difference. Matt Targett wins Newcastle a penalty and Gordon duly dispatches it to give the hosts the lead. That will have eased the nerves around St James' Park. By Harry Bamforth Arsenal fans, I have some good news. Martin Odegaard has just come out for the second half sprinting onto the pitch, he looks OK. I'm sure most of the Emirates have just breathed a sigh of relief - they would have been worried. Anyway, we are back underway and so are the other three FA Cup games. By Aadam Patel At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth Bruno Fernandes loves a booking, doesn't he? I mean, every time I see him play he seems to do something that gets him in trouble. Since his United debut in February 2020, no Premier League player has received more cautions and red cards combined in all competitions than Fernandes. If I was a betting man, I reckon he could get sent off here. By Harry Bamforth There is much to comb through from that half, so let's just take a look at the disallowed goal. Look, it's certainly offside as Gabriel Martinelli went too early, but there is still a bit of subjectivity to it. The ball does take a deflection on its way through to Martinelli, which does change things a little. So, I can see why Martinelli looked so frustrated, but it was right to be ruled out. And in all honesty, Arsenal didn't deserve a goal based on that performance. By Henry Clark At Selhurst Park By Harry Bamforth There goes the whistle. .. It comes just moments after Martin Odegaard had to take a seat on the floor, he is struggling with something. He was told to just wait until the break to seek medical attention, and now he will get that. It's a real worry for the hosts. All-in-all, bar Gabriel Martinelli's disallowed strike, not much has really happened at the Emirates. Let's hope things improve in the second half. By Harry Bamforth Well, that was an interesting 45 minutes. Crystal Palace may be leading but they have not had things their own way this afternoon. After conceding early, League One Stockport County have actually had a right go - credit to them. This one is far form over. By Harry Bamforth Is this really Newcastle? Yes, Eddie Howe has made a bunch of changes but this is not the performance we were expecting. The Magpies have been really poor and even went behind to League Two Bromley early on. Lewis Miley brought them level, but that has not really changed the feeling here. By Harry Bamforth Ipswich are halfway into the hat for the next round. Three first-half strikes have practically got the job done for them, this is a precession now. Bristol Rovers need a miracle. By Harry Bamforth Ohhh, Lisandro Martinez needs to be careful here. The centre-back is already on a yellow card and he has just left one in on Martin Odegaard to give away a free kick. The referee gives him a good talking-to and probably says that's his last chance. Martinez is walking a tightrope. By Craig Hope At St James' Park By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth Are Arsenal now rubbish at corners? The set-piece kings have not had it their own way today when whipping them into the box. The latest one is comfortable for Altay Bayindir to collect, which is not something I thought I would type today. By Harry Bamforth Oh no, this is not good. .. Gabriel Jesus has not got up since colliding with Bruno Fernandes and now the stretcher is out. The Brazilian looks like he is in agony and in the en, d has to come off on the stretcher. That looks serious, it really does. Arsenal just have no luck with injuries at the moment. Raheem Sterling is on to replace him. By Harry Bamforth It's tantrum time for Bruno Fernandes! The Manchester United captain is not a happy bunny as he believes he has been fouled by Gabriel Jesus on the edge of the box. It looks like a free-kick to me, but the referee does not agree and tells Fernandes to get up. Fernandes can't believe it and takes his boot off before throwing in on the floor not once, but twice. That earns him a booking, of course. He throws his toys out of the pram. I understand his frustration, though. By Harry Bamforth Ipswich are roaring into the fourth round. The hosts are running riot and now Jack Taylor gets on the scoresheet with a storming finish. The midfielder latches onto a loose ball in the area and wraps his foot around the ball, sending it into the far corner. That's a lovely finish. By Harry Bamforth We have had a shot, hoorah! Manchester United hit Arsenal on the break and Alejandro Garncho is away. But the youngster soon realises he has nobody running with him so just has to go alone. As he is marshalled away from goal by William Saliba, Garnacho has a crack at goal, but David Raya is equal to it. It's better than nothing, I guess. .. By Harry Bamforth Come on, lads. .. this is pants. The way this game going, I will be asking about what all of your dinner plans are soon. Between blogs, I just had a pizza bagel to keep me going. Putting that in the air fryer was more entertaining than watching this, that's for sure. By Aadam Patel At The Emirates By Harry Bamforth Oh, it's all getting a little bit tasty at the Emirates. There is finally a little bit of needle as Lisandro Martinez wipes out Gabriel Jesus. The Arsenal players are not happy with him and a few start to get involved before the yellow card is shown to the Argentine. This is exactly what this game needs. By Dan Davis The hosts are cruising into the fourth round. Ali Al-Hamadi's shot deflected into the path of Jack Clarke and he made no mistake in slotting home his first for Ipswich. By Dan Davis United have forced David Raya into his first save of the afternoon. It was a good spell of possession from the visitors but Kobbie Mainoo's effort from 25 yards was well held by the goalkeeper down to his left. By Dan Davis Kalvin Phillips' curler has put the Premier League side in the lead. By Dan Davis It did look to be a deliberate movement from Harry Maguire for that goal, which in my mind means Gabriel Martinelli was onside. Even without VAR, there's controversy abound. By Dan Davis This is a bit of a beauty, too. Lewis Miley pulled the trigger from 25 yards and watched on as the ball flashed into the net. A timely reminder of the young man's quality. By Dan Davis Arsenal think they should be ahead! This is a controversial one. Gabriel Martinelli was slotted through on goal and tucked into the bottom corner to spark wild celebrations. He was miles offside but Harry Maguire did get a touch on the ball. Does that mean Martinelli was therefore onside? Mikel Arteta is not a happy man. By Dan Davis It's been all Arsenal so far. The hosts won a free-kick a few moments ago which Martin Odegaard whipped into the mixer, but Gabriel nodded wide. Then, a poor ball from Diogo Dalot almost released Kai Havertz with Manuel Ugarte stepping in to clean up the mess. By Dan Davis An almighty scream was audible on the pitchside microphone when Alejandro Garnacho caught Gabriel a little high. Referee Andy Madley was quick on the scene and gave a free-kick. There's no VAR in use for this game, remember. By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Dan Davis Arsenal won the first set piece of the afternoon and Martin Odegaard worked the ball short to Jorginho. Mikel Merino was then caught offside inside the box. Bit of a waste. By Dan Davis Well, well, well! League Two Bromley lead! Cameron Congreve took aim from 22 yards and picked out the bottom corner with a sumptuous finish. A moment of real class, that. By Dan Davis Arsenal have done well to pen United into their own half so far. Gabriel Martinelli looked to touch the ball around Manuel Ugarte, but he did well to read the danger and shepherd it behind for a goal kick. By Henry Clark At Selhurst Park By Dan Davis Palace have a very early lead! It was a lovely, crisp finish from Eberechi Eze. That's Premier League class on show for all to see. By Dan Davis Arsenal pieced together another move down the right with Jorginho clipping a ball over the top for Gabriel Jesus. He tried to keep it in play but after dangling out a leg, his low cross was easy pickings for Altay Bayindir at his near post. By Dan Davis Arsenal came forward and Martin Odegaard looked to thread in Jurrien Timber on the overlap down this near side. Lisandro Martinez did well to step in and United cleared the danger. By Dan Davis Steady start from both sides with United looking to squeeze the hosts. The gap between them in this fixture last time out was pretty big, but can United hold their own for the entire 90 today? Judging from that display at Anfield, perhaps they can. Let's see. By Dan Davis Aaaand away we go! We're also up and running in the other 3pm games. By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Dan Davis Here come the teams! Are you up for the cup? I am. By Dan Davis There are around 8, 000 United supporters in that away end and the atmosphere is building nicely in all four corners at the Emirates. Let's do this, folks. I'm excited. By Dan Davis It was a bit ugly but Tottenham now lead at Tamworth. I'm sure those Arsenal supporters Aadam mentioned below have made their way to their seats. It looks like the giant killing is over. By Aadam Patel At The Emirates By Dan Davis United will play with this limited edition, gold Mitre Ultimax Pro ball this afternoon, being the FA Cup holders and all. That may be of some interest to Mikel Arteta, who made some interesting comments on the match ball during the loss to Newcastle. This one is a bit of a beauty, I have to say. But will it really make a difference? Probably not. By Dan Davis Mikel Arteta, Arsenal boss, speaking to BBC Sport: By Dan Davis The title is a joke, don't worry. I have to admit I'm also struggling to focus on this showdown at the Emirates, with Tottenham's travails at Tamworth a gripping watch. Anyway, the warm-ups have begun and we're 20 minutes away from kick-off. If you've got a score prediction, now's the time to let us know. I'm feeling a tight, edgy encounter, but I'm often very, very wrong. By Henry Clark At Selhurst Park By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Dan Davis As a reminder, there are NO replays at this stage of the competition. If we're locked level at the final whistle, we'll go to extra-time. Penalties are also available if needed, but I think we could all do without the stress that comes with that particular scenario. Even the neutrals will be chewing their fingernails. By Dan Davis Tottenham are rocking at Tamworth and that tie is heading to extra-time. The hosts have been absolutely brilliant. Fair play to them. This bit of skill is worth a watch. The confidence to try that. .. wow. I'm saying it again. This is what the cup is all about. It's football magic. By Dan Davis Ruben Amorim confirmed during the week that Altay Bayindir, Man United's back-up goalkeeper, would start this afternoon. The stopper endured an awful time of it during the loss to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup and conceded directly from a corner. That game will be most remembered as a battle between two calamitous keepers, with Fraser Forster just as poor at the other end. Bayindir has it all to do to win back the trust of United supporters and it wouldn't surprise me if we see a few early wobbles. One to keep an eye on, I reckon, especially at set pieces. By Dan Davis This is a decision that may raise some eyebrows in the United end. Alejandro Garnacho has been recalled from the cold and starts today for the first time since the defeat to Nottingham Forest in November. He did lay on the assist for Amad Diallo's equaliser at Anfield, remember, and is normally a bright spark if given space to run. However, there is plenty of speculation around his future and Napoli were the latest club linked with him as of this morning. Can he make an impact and prove he should stay at the club? By Dan Davis It's a whopping NINE changes for Newcastle today, by the way. Our man Craig Hope is in position at St James' Park for this one. By Ian Ladyman At The Emirates By Craig Hope At St James' Park By Dan Davis There are no less than four 3pm kick-offs in the FA Cup today. Here they are. .. Arsenal v Manchester United Newcastle v Bromley Ipswich Town v Bristol Rovers Crystal Palace v Stockport By Dan Davis Ruben Amorim, Man United boss, speaking to BBC Sport: By Dan Davis It's two changes for United this afternoon. Alejandro Garnacho is starting, despite the speculation over his future, with Amad Diallo on the bench after suffering a slight injury issue. Altay Bayindir, who endured an awful outing against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup, has been selected ahead of Andre Onana. That looks a real risk to me. By Dan Davis Arsenal have made three changes to the side that lost to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup semi-final last time out.
