The left back, widely known mononymously as Reinildo, has also been linked with interest from Leeds and Crystal Palace this summer. According to The Sun, discussions with Palace have taken place but the 31-year-old is now in advanced talks with Sunderland and an agreement over a two-year contract is likely imminent.
