Norwich squandered a glorious sixth-minute chance when Lewis Dobbin got in down the right and pulled the ball back perfectly for the onrushing Anis Ben Slimane but he missed the target. Please use Chrome browser for a more accessible video player Blackburn's only real sight in the opening quarter of the encounter came when Augustus Kargbo jinked inside from the left only to drag his shot wide of the near post. The visitors were aggrieved in the 27th minute when Dominic Hyam appeared to throw an elbow at Gunn. The Rovers defender escaped a booking but replays suggest he was fortunate. Norwich soon had another opportunity to break the deadlock but Kellen Fisher skewed wide on his weaker foot. Please use Chrome browser for a more accessible video player Ismael made a triple substitution after the hour and Weimann's first touch was a deft glancing header that drifted just wide of the far post. The game exploded into life five minutes from the end as Dennis, who was perhaps lucky not to receive a straight red for his first booking, was sent off after catching Ben Chrisene when trying to connect with a cross. Blackburn's sense of injustice was increased when Emiliano Marcondes sent in a cross that Crnac turned home at the near post for what seemed like the winner. Borja Sainz almost made the game safe just after but Aynsley Pears made a sprawling low save that turned out to be vital. Rovers went up the other end and, with practically the last touch of the game, Weimann glanced in Yuri Ribeiro's chipped cross for his seventh goal of the season to send the home fans wild. Blackburn's Valerien Ismael: "It was a tough game for us with a strong opponent but we knew that. We were well organised and tried to go through the gameplan we had. I think until the red card, it was really good and we were on top, we had the momentum. "The red card changed everything, it's a new game. After that, I think it was tough for the players to concede the goal. But they showed again a great mentality. "I think throughout the season, showed a really good, honest, hard-working group to believe in themselves and to make sure we give everything. As I say, a no-regret attitude and they made it today. "We deserved a point but it feels like more a win because the boost and the mentality the players showed me they are ready to compete for the play-offs. We have to keep that going. "When I talk about the no-regret attitude, it was exactly that - we finish the game and we can look at ourselves and say we gave everything. " Norwich's Johannes Hoff Thorup: "It's more the approach in the last two, three minutes of the game which I'm frustrated about. I let the players know after the game it's not acceptable because I think, up until the goal, we played such a professional game away from home. "It's a top-six team and we go here, we take the ball and we dominate and we try to open them, create the flow of the game, try to create the chances. We get ourselves in front at the end and then last two, three minutes, we dribble around and we lose the ball a couple of times instead of just passing the ball to the final whistle. "I think there are so many decisions in the last two, three minutes that simply need to be better. "There's many good things to take from this performance. It's a fantastic goal we score at the end, many good things in the way we are developing as a team. But down to the last two, three minutes, it's not acceptable. "Many good things to highlight. It's just the end which annoys everyone. " The £250, 000 is up for grabs with Super 6, and as always it is completely free to play. Entries by 3pm Saturday.
