Celin Bizet joined Manchester United from Tottenham Hotspur in 2024 Manchester United manager Marc Skinner has said the club will look to sign cover for midfielder Celin Bizet in January after she announced her pregnancy. The Norway international announced on Thursday she is expecting a baby in 2026 with her husband Aron. Skinner said United would look to bolster their already stretched squad next month in anticipation for Bizet going on maternity leave. "Congratulations to Aron and Celin, but from our perspective we will miss her, " Skinner told his media conference on Friday. "Hopefully we will do some work in the transfer window to replace her. " United have been boosted ahead of their Women's Super League meeting on Sunday with West Ham United by the return to fitness of first-choice goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce. Tullis-Joyce suffered a fractured eye socket during the WSL defeat to Aston Villa and was absent for the losses to Manchester City and Wolfsburg before the international break. "Phallon is ready, " Skinner said. "She has been training for the last few days, she is ready for selection.
