He appeals for a free-kick but Josh Smith says nothing doing. Ayew stays on the deck, as Derby play on, and eventually gets up and is booed mercilessly when he picks up the ball, and to the home crowd's delight then concedes a free-kick for handball after putting his hand out to stop the ball after being bundled over. Derby keeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom has gone down in need of treatment, which is convenient as it's allowing John Eustace to have an impromptu team meeting. .. just a coincidence, I'm sure. Watford 0-1 Norwich A quick break up field for the hosts ends with a clash between Giorgi Chakvetadze and Vladan Kovacevic in the Norwich goal. The Georgian beat the last defender but his touch was just a little heavy and his lunge to try and nick back control as the Norwich keeper raced out ends with a clash of knees. There is a bit of treatment for the Watford man who has been out all season with this being a first start of the campaign. After a respectful pause, he gets the all clear and a yellow card. Derby 0-2 Leicester Derby are clinging on here, Leicester are pushing it forward and wide at every opportunity and winning a series of set-pieces, corners and long throws which Luke Thomas is launching into the mixer with venom. Really tricky spell for the Rams, this. You feel the game might get away from them. Derby 0-2 Leicester Josh Smith is having a busy game. Sondre Langas picks up a caution for a body-check on City's Stephy Mavididi and that's three bookings in quick succession and we're only in the 24th minute. Derby 0-2 Leicester Darren Robinson Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby Derby are so lucky, they're so relieved the flag went up. The defenders are defending and the midfield are non-existent, you could park six cars in there. Derby just need to get some sort of organisation. Watford 0-1 Norwich How has that not gone in? Imran Louza slings it in from a right sided corner, the ball is nodded back into the mixer at the back stick and Matt Pollock goes low to head home from a yard out only for his effort to go back where it came from and off for a goal kick! That was a great clearing header if it had been at the other end. But it wasn't and it has to go down as an awful miss. Pollock gets a bang on his nose for his troubles too. Derby 0-2 Leicester Leicester will be fuming. Jordan Ayew gets ahead of the defence to power home a diving header from the subsequent free-kick. Stunning header. But the flag is up. Replays suggest he was level. League One leaders Cardiff are still 1-0 up against Huddersfield thanks to Yousef Salech's early header. Bradford had a great chance to take the lead at lowly Plymouth, but Aden Baldwin headed straight at the keeper. In League Two it's goalless between Colchester and Gillingham. .. it's not been a classic with neither side testing the goalkeeper. Derby 0-2 Leicester Ebou Adams, the Derby skipper is the next into the book after a late lunge on Bobby Cordova-Reid. His seventh of the campaign already and again, it's a long time on a yellow in a game like this. Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth The players are heading down the tunnel and off the field. They stopped play in about the 12th minute when one of the players alerted the referee to something in the crowd. We've since learned it is a medical emergency in the Covered End Lower but have no other details at this time other than treatment has continued. The players have been taken off the field with the score goalless. Derby 0-2 Leicester Darren Robinson Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby Rams have to get back into this game. As they push forward, it leaves potential for Leicester to get in behind, that's the worry. It's been really frustrating in the manner we have conceded. Derby 0-2 Leicester Jannik Verstergaard has his name taken by ref Josh Smith after a rather clumsy challenge on Patrick Agyemang as he bustles past him in the Foxes half. Long time on a yellow, that, well over 70 minutes to play. Derby 0-2 Leicester This is Leicester's first away league game against Derby since a 1-0 win in August 2013. They've won on three of their last four league visits to Pride Park, keeping a clean sheet in each victory. They're already well on their way to making that four in five, but there's plenty of time for John Eustace's men to turn the ride. Derby 0-2 Leicester Andrew Aloia BBC Sport England at Pride Park The pressure that was on Marti Cifuentes has been relieved in a big way in the first 15 minutes here. He made for changes for this game, and two of those brought in have delivered goals. First it was a cool finish from Bobby De Cordova-Reid and now it's Oliver Skipp that sinks the book in from a corner. Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth Hopefully the fan who has needed medical attention is ok, we don't have any real detail at this moment in time. Charlton have described it as a "medical emergency in the Covered End Lower". The players are kicking the ball around on the pitch as they try to keep warm while the pause in play continues. Derby 0-2 Leicester Matt Piper Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester What a start to this game, we didn't come out the traps but these midfield boys are running it. There's plenty of swerve on it and once again the keeper unable to do anything about it. You couldn't write it. Oliver Skipp (15 mins) Jordan Ayew battles away to win the Foxes a corner allowing them to send the big-guns forward. Jordan James whips the ball in with an outswinger. .. it's a poor corner to be honest, it should have been cut out at the near post, but it loops up out of a crowd of players and drops to Oliver Skipp to lash home a left-footed volley from six yards out. The Foxes fans are in dreamland. Charlton 0-0 Portsmouth There's a break in play for an apparent medical situation in one of the stands. It's not clear exactly what's happening but the referee is in a conversation with the coaches. Josh Sargent (11 mins) Great bit of forward play from the American. Forson has been pulling strings in midfield and is involved again but this is down to a great ball from Oscar Schwartau and brilliant anticipation and movement from Josh Sargent. Schwartau clips a nice ball in from the left flank and Sargent makes a late dart in front of Marc Bola at the back stick, stoops to nod it past Nathan Baxter. That is a first goal for Sargent since August and fully deserved given the bright start from Norwich. Derby 0-1 Leicester Good response from Derby as they seek to make an immediate reply. Patrick Agyemang has shown some nice touches already with his languid style and he wins a corner under an aerial ball in the box, but is then edged out at the far post when Bobby Clark whips in the set-piece. Clark gets the ball back but curls his cross too close to keeper Jakub Stolarcyk. Last Updated 6th December 2025 at 12: 53 Please Note: All times UK. Tables are subject to change.
