Tudor, 47, was only appointed in March, but he has paid the price for a run of three successive defeats. The Italian giants have also blanked in four matches in a row, with their last goal coming 394-minutes ago, and they haven't won in eight games. Juve are languishing in eighth place in Serie A, while they have just two points from three fixtures in the Champions League League Phase. A report in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport said Tudor was informed of his fate on Monday morning in a meeting, with the news made public shortly after. Massimo Brambilla, who is in charge of Juventus' Next Gen team, which is effectively the club's reserve team or Under 23s side, has taken the reins on an interim basis, and he will oversee Wednesday's match against Udinese. Igor Tudor has been informed he has lost his job as the manager of Italian giants Juventus The final straw for Tudor was Juventus' 1-0 defeat by Lazio in Serie A on Sunday night In a statement, the club said: 'Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as head coach of the Men's First Team, along with his staff consisting of Ivan Javorcic, Tomislav Rogic and Riccardo Ragnacci. 'The club also announces that it has temporarily entrusted the Men's First Team to Massimo Brambilla, who will be on the bench for the Juventus-Udinese match on Wednesday evening. 'The club thanks Igor Tudor and his entire staff for their professionalism and dedication over the past few months and wishes them all the best for their future careers. ' The final straw for Tudor was Sunday's 1-0 defeat by Lazio and his exit comes after a dramatic dip in results over the past month. Things had begun positively for the Croatian, who has also coached the likes of Marseille, Hellas Verona and Udinese, after he replaced Thiago Motta earlier this year. Despite a difficult season for the the Italian giants, Tudor helped them to qualify for the Champions League, an achievement that saw him sign a contract extension until 2028. Tudor also oversaw Juventus' Club World Cup campaign, but they were knocked out at the last-16 stage by Real Madrid. After a strong summer transfer window where the likes of Lois Openda and Jonathan David arrived at the club, the 2025-26 season began brilliantly as they won their first three league games, including a dramatic 4-3 victory over Inter Milan. Massimo Brambilla, who is in charge of Juventus' Next Gen team, has taken interim charge Tudor only came in as manager in March and he leaves with 10 wins from 24 matches However, a run of three points in the following five Serie A matches has changed the mood and Tudor has now been axed after 10 wins and six defeats over 24 matches during his tenure. His exit continues the turbulence around Juventus, who have not won the Italian title for five years after they triumphed for nine successive seasons between 2011 and 2020. Since their final title in 2019-20, shortly after which Maurizio Sarri left, the club have been through four permanent managers; Andrea Pirlo, Max Allegri, Motta and Tudor. Juventus legend Giorgio Chiellini, who is now the club's Director of Football Strategy, alongside General Manager Damien Comolli, will be responsible for hiring Tudor's successor. Luciano Spalletti, Roberto Mancini and Raffaele Palladino are reported to be in contention for the role.
