The 26-year-old Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and the Blues are considering the options on offer for the centre back they signed from Monaco for £38. 8million in 2023. If Disasi pushes for Villa as his preference, it is expected he would be loaned until the summer with no obligation to buy. It would provide him with a chance to play Premier League football for a Champions League-chasing club that is struggling with injuries. Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has tried using Disasi as a makeshift right-back, though he has not convinced enough this season in that position or in central defence. The Blues added to their defensive reinforcements by recalling Trevoh Chalobah from his season-long loan to Crystal Palace. The 25-year-old centre-back impressed during his first game back at Stamford Bridge against, defending solidly and nearly scoring in the 3-1 win, with Noni Madueke heading in his effort on the goal line. Meanwhile, Disasi has only featured in six Premier League matches so far this season, starting four times and coming on as a substitute twice. Despite his lack of minutes, Disasi has still managed to find the scoresheet from defence this campaign, netting during Chelsea's 5-1 win over Southampton in December.
