Mail Sport revealed that Chelsea face competition for Osimhen from the Saudi Arabian club who submitted a £55million bid for the Nigerian forward. The Blues have been keen on the Napoli man all summer as they look to further bolster their attack and a loan with an obligation to buy is the Premier League side's preferred deal. However, it has been reported by RMC Sport, that Osimhen is not thrilled by the idea of joining the Blues, while it also appears the 25-year-old is set to reject any further approach from Al-Ahli or any Saudi Arabian club. Osimhen's agent, Roberto Calenda, has posted a statement on social media app X both criticising Napoli and indicating that the player's future lies in Europe. ' Napoli put a £113m release clause in the contract, however, no club has shown signs of meeting such a high price tag. The Belgian striker's move could pave the way for Osimhen to go in the other direction, but there seems to be a way to go before a potential deal could be struck.
