And breathe. It's been one hell of a weekend, one hell of a day, and one hell of a night. I'm absolutely knackered from covering it. It ended with a match that can only be described as one big feisty scrap, that had a couple of headed goals. 25 fouls. Seven yellow cards. One red card. A million handbags. At the end of the day, on paper, it looks like a bad result for an Arsenal side who were looking to build the gap between them and the rest at the top. However, with how well Chelsea played with 10 men, Mikel Arteta should be happy that his side got anything. They are still five points clear. Anyway, I need to go and have a lie down. Thanks for joining. I will see you all soon. Enzo Maresca, Chelsea manager, on Sky Sports: On the Moises Caicedo red card: Chelsea just love a London derby. Yes, I know they didn't win, but they also didn't lose. They never seem to lose the big derbies these days. They are unbeaten in each of their last nine Premier League London derbies (W5 D4), their longest run under the same manager since their first nine derby matches of José Mourinho’s second spell in 2013-14. Not a bad record, eh? Mikel Arteta, Arsenal boss, speaking on Sky Sports: On Moises Caicedo's red card: Mikel Merino just loves a header. The Spaniard is now actually Arsenal's joint-top scorer in the Premier League in 2025 with eight goals, five of which have come with his head – the Spaniard has the joint-most headed goals in the competition this calendar year alongside Kevin Schade. His career at the Gunners is quite remarkable, really. Started as a backup midfielder and is now an integral part of Mikel Arteta's team as a forward. Honestly, I'd keep him there over Viktor Gyokeres for now because he keeps coming up with the goods. Just give Merino the number nine shirt at this point. Mikel Merino, Arsenal midfielder, speaking to Sky Sports: On the Moises Caicedo red card challenge: On scoring from crosses: Right then, let's debate. I am seeing a lot of discourse online over whether that was a good point before Arsenal or not. My view is that the gunners were so far off their best that the fact they avoided defeat can only be a positive. These games happen when you are going for a title; you just have to avoid losing. But yes, I also accept that they have failed to beat a side who were a man down for most of the match. So I guess both sides of the argument are fair. What do you think? Arsenal may have struggled to create chances today, but the one they scored was a peach of a header from Mikel Merino. The man is just inevitable when a cross comes into the box, he always seems to nod them in with ease. He ain't just a makeshift striker no more. A natural. Wow, this is some statistic. I knew that Arsenal struggled in front of goal today, but I didn't know it was this bad. Arsenal managed just eight shots in today’s draw (seven after the red card), their fewest in a Premier League game since October 2024 at Bournemouth (six). Meanwhile, the Gunners faced 10 or more shots (11 today) for only the second time in the league this season, along with MD1 against Manchester United (22). Considering they had an extra man for most of the game, it shows how much they truly struggled. They probably did well to get a point in the end. Theo Walcott, former Arsenal forward, on Sky Sports: That is a much better point for Chelsea than Arsenal, isn't it? The Blues could have easily buckled after going down to 10 men in the first half, but nope, they just worked harder. Mikel Merino's header was almost the only time that Arsenal actually managed to break them down to fashion a good chance, the Chelsea backline were incredibly resilient in that second half. The players should walk away from the Bridge tonight feeling good about themselves; that was what you call a gusty performance against a side that have been battering teams for fun. One to build on.
