The 26-year-old Frenchman put his side up 2-1 in the 28th minute of France's UEFA Nations League game with Israel, at the Bozsik Arena in Budapest, Hungary. A well-worked move between Eduardo Camavinga and Ousmane Dembele left Nkunku with the ball at his feet and his back to goal, on the edge of the 18-yard box. In an instant, Nkunku managed to wrong-foot three Israeli defenders trying to crowd him off the ball thanks to a lightening-quick Cruyff Turn.   He then knocked the ball into a yard of space and surged towards keeper Omri Glazer's near post, to cooly slot home across the face of his goal. France would go on to dominate the Isreal national team on the night, winning comfortably 4-1. A first-half goal from France midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was cancelled out by Israeli forward Omri Gandelman, but not before Nkunku could put Les Bleus ahead.
