Deadline day is here and a number of Premier League clubs are set for a frantic finish to the transfer window. It slams shut at 11pm in England - and top-flight clubs have already spent more than £1. 7billion. That number looks set to soar as teams look to bolster their squad before the window re-opens in January. Meanwhile, big names such as Ivan Toney, Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling could all sign for new clubs on Friday. Follow our live blog below for the latest. .. Southampton are in advanced talks to sign Noel Buck from MLS side New England Revolution, talk SPORT understands. He is set to join on a loan deal until January that includes a buy option. The teenage midfielder is an England U20 international and he could now be set to play his domestic football in the country. Buck was born in the US and has been playing in the MLS since 2022, making 57 first-team appearances. His form for England and New England Revolution has attracted interest from the Saints and they are aiming to complete the deal. It's yet to be known whether the 19-year-old will join up with the first team or join Southampton's academy. Here's what we know about Chelsea's Deadline Day pursuit of Victor Osimhen. .. The Blues are yet to make a formal approach to Napoli for the striker as they are waiting for him to agree to fit into their wage structure. Should Osimhen give the green light on that, a bid would likely follow with talks continuing between the two parties. As things stand, Chelsea are the only team going for Osimhen with Al Ahli now focusing on signing Ivan Toney. Toney has undergone a medical in London ahead of a move to Saudi Arabia this afternoon. Al Ahli cannot sign both the England international and Osimhen, meaning the latter is expected to be available for Chelsea to swoop in. This could be one that will go right down the deadline tonight. .. Wolves winger Daniel Podence is set to sign for Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab, talk SPORT understands. A bid of around £5million has been accepted and the Portuguese forward will be heading to the Middle East. There will also be a significant sell-on clause for Wolves in the deal, according to Ben Jacobs. Podence has made two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season but has always been keen on a Saudi move. And now he is going to get his wish on Deadline Day. Chelsea have held talks with Everton over a Deadline Day deal for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, talk SPORT understands. The Blues were willing to offer players including David Datro Fofana plus a sum of money for Calvert-Lewin. But Everton want to keep their number nine and therefore a move is unlikely to happen today. Chelsea are pursuing Victor Osimhen, but spoke with the Toffees about their striker in case Osimhen doesn't agree to join. Calvert-Lewin has one year left on his contract and that means, with a summer switch not set to happen, he will be available for pre-contract talks with clubs in January. Ipswich are back in talks with Chelsea over Armando Broja, talk SPORT understands. The Tractor Boys are trying to re-negotiate their £30million buy option in Broja’s loan because he is out with an Achilles injury. Leicester have also shown interest in the Albanian international striker. Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has hailed the club’s owners for keeping hold of Marc Guehi this summer. Newcastle tabled several bids for Guehi but Palace held firm on their hefty valuation and the defender is now staying put. Glasner said: "I was never really in doubt. First of all, really congratulations to Crystal Palace, the chairman and the owners, to everyone who didn't give in.   "Especially after the transfer of Joachim Andersen, it was important that Marc stays and thank you to Marc that he always was close in talking a lot and all the rumours didn't influence his performance, his mood and his professionalism. "He's not pushing to leave Crystal Palace, that was for me the most important thing. That the players like to place for Crystal Palace, for the team here. Marc told me that very often.   "Sometimes people act in the opposite way, Marc told me and acted him, the same way. He showed his fantastic character again. Marc stays at Crystal Palace and stays our captain. " Erik ten Hag expects Jadon Sancho to stay put at Manchester United today. Sancho is being heavily linked with a surprise move to Chelsea this week. Juventus, Bayern Munich and Sancho’s old club Borussia Dortmund have also been touted as potential deadline day destinations. Asked if Sancho will still be a United player after tonight’s 11pm deadline, Ten Hag replied: "As I know, yes. " He added: "He is playing in the squad and we are happy with him. We need a good squad, we need depth. "We have to play many games until January. After the break we play every third day so we need options. " Martin Keown thinks Arsenal could pursue a late move for Raheem Sterling and Mikel Arteta could get the best out of him. Chelsea have offered Sterling to the Gunners but a transfer could be tricky at this late stage. Keown told talk SPORT: “It's interesting because when you look at when Arteta was the coach at Man City, they were certainly getting the very best from Sterling. “He was talking about him recently saying that he needed to change the approach to the way that he dealt with the player so maybe he's got a special relationship there. “I don't see that out of the realms of possibility that it could happen. “I'd like to know what the possible fee would be for Sterling for Arsenal to pay because they get a remit of value for money in the way that they work. “Maybe Arsenal are now ready to try and make this type of signing because they had a lot of dead wood to get rid of and their policy has been to make sure they're signing young players predominantly and players that are going to actually get into the eleven. “I'm not sure Sterling will do that. ” Ivan Toney has been filmed attending a medical in London ahead of his potential move to Al Ahli. The Saudi Arabian side had a £40million bid accepted by Brentford earlier today and the striker looks set to sign. There could be some complications should Al Ahli opt to sign Victor Osimhen as they are unable to bring in both forwards. However, for now, it seems like Toney is just about to begin undergoing medical tests ahead of the move. And that could indicate that the England international will be the one heading to the Middle East, potentially leaving Osimhen for Chelsea to pursue. Aaron Ramsdale has spoken of his excitement about his move to Southampton from Arsenal. After his transfer was announced, Ramsdale said: “I’m absolutely delighted. "The way the manager wants to play, the way he was when I spoke to him, he was just full of so much enthusiasm. "I’d never met him before, but he made me feel about eight feet tall, which is just what you want. “Coming back down to the south coast as well for me and my family, it would be an easier transition than most, so I feel like I can hit the ground running. “I’m looking forward to this year, just getting back to what I do best and having a big smile on my face while doing it here. ” Southampton have confirmed the £18million signing of Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. Ramsdale departs the Gunners after three years at the club in search of regular first-team football again. The England international lost his place to David Raya last season and never managed to win it back. It has led to him looking for a way out and the Saints have swooped in to bring him to the South Coast on a four-year deal. Ramsdale is expected to become the starting goalkeeper for Russell Martin's side, with Alex Mc Carthy likely to drop to the bench. Speaking about the signing in his press conference today, Southampton manager Martin said: "He's hungry to become England's number one again and he wants to be here. So I think that's so important. "If you'd have asked me four or five weeks ago, would we have had a chance of signing Aaron Ramsdale, I would have thought you were probably crazy. "We spoke a fair bit over that period of time, I pestered him a little bit, and even a week ago I'd have probably thought, you know, it's not achievable, but it's worth trying still. "But he's seen the way we played, he's watched the first couple of games and I think he admires the courage of the players and the way they play. I think he knows he has a chance to express himself and to come in and show everyone what a good goalkeeper is. "I think he's been frustrated over the last year of the lack of playing time, but he brings winning mentality, brings big character, he brings big voice, which is something as a group, we're not. .. we're quite a quiet group in terms of the players because we're a young group. "So he brings experience and attitude and winning mentality. I think he's going to be great. " Carl Rushworth has joined Hull City on loan from Brighton. The goalkeeper, who spent last season on loan at Swansea, has headed back to the Championship for this campaign. He was unlikely to get any game-time in the Premier League as he is behind Bart Verbruggen and Jason Steele in the pecking order. Rushworth made 48 appearances for the Swans and won the club's Player of the Season award. The England youth international will now look to keep up that form with Hull as he competes for a starting spot with Ivor Pandur. Manuel Ugarte will not be registered in time to make his Manchester United debut against Liverpool this weekend. The Uruguayan has still not had his move confirmed and the deal has not been completed in time to allow him to feature at Old Trafford on Sunday. It means Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo are the Red Devils' likely midfield partnership for the blockbuster in Manchester. Ugarte won't play a part but it's not news the club weren't expecting as they weren't in any rush to get it done before this weekend's registration deadline. That is because Ugarte is not deemed ready to start for them just yet, having not played a single minute since mid-July and not featuring in PSG's pre-season. He will sign for Man United for around £50million today after completing his medical at the club earlier this week. talk SPORT's Ben Jacobs has given an update on multiple transfer deals at midday on Deadline Day. .. Jadon Sancho Chelsea are ones to watch until the last minute of the transfer window when it comes to Sancho. When discussions involved Raheem Sterling, the price was around £30million so that could increase. Man United want a straight fee or a loan with an obligation to buy but the Blues are not ruling out a temporary move at the moment. Billy Gilmour Brighton are happy to let Gilmour go to Napoli for £15million or more. The two clubs are still negotiating to try and get a deal done. Kingsley Coman Al Hilal are back in contact with Bayern Munich to try and sign French winger Coman. He has not yet said he will go to Saudi Arabia, but a deal has been agreed for £35million. Jayden Meghoma 18-year-old Meghoma is undergoing a medical at Brentford ahead of a move from Southampton. There had been some conversations about Ben Chilwell joining the Bees, but it has to be presumed that will now not happen. Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of 19-year-old goalkeeper George Murray-Jones from Manchester City. Murray-Jones has signed a three-year deal and will join up with Forest's B team after impressing in Man City's academy. He featured in the UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy last season and has also played for England at youth level. Speaking about the move, he said: “I’m really happy to have signed and can’t wait to get started. “After discussions with the Club, I’m convinced this is the best place for me to develop my game. "Now I just want to get to work and have a good season. ” Birmingham's £10million record bid for Jay Stansfield has been rejected by Fulham. The Blues were looking to smash the highest-ever price paid for a player in League One by bringing in the striker who spent last season on loan at the club. However, despite the huge offer, the Cottagers are not willing to let Stansfield go on Deadline Day. It is now looking likely that he will remain with Marco Silva's side with Birmingham moving on to other targets. Brazilian midfielder Andre is undergoing his medical at Wolves ahead of a £21million move, talk SPORT understands. The Fluminense star was close to signing for Fulham earlier in the summer window but he's now in the West Midlands. Andre has played over 100 games in Brazil and has been highly sought-after by multiple teams in Europe. Wolves have won the race though, and he will become Gary O'Neil's seventh signing of the summer. With his medical underway now, the deal is expected to be done well before tonight's deadline. Liverpool manager Arne Slot is not planning to make any more summer signings on Deadline Day. Two players have joined the Reds with Federico Chiesa the only one actually to be joining up this season. Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has also agreed to join the club, but he won't be with the squad until next campaign. Speaking about any more potential arrivals, Slot admitted: "Today? I am not expecting anything. "But it is no different than all the days before but if we see an opportunity, we will see, but not expecting anything. " The Liverpool boss also spoke about his delight at bringing Chiesa to the club at his press conference this morning. Slot said: "I'm excited, if we sign someone who can help us and improve the squad, of course you're excited to get him in. "He works really hard on and off the pitch, he can score goals and is aggressive off the ball and he can play so many positions, an interesting signing. "We will take care of him because he hasn't trained much but we have good performance staff to build him in the right way and we can see his quality in the near future. " Chelsea may still have a chance to sign Victor Osimhen. Napoli accepted a bid for Osimhen from Al Ahli this morning, agreeing to sell the striker to Saudi Arabia. However, that deal is still not fully complete and now that Al Ahli have had a bid accepted for Ivan Toney too, it makes things complicated. The club will not be able to sign both strikers as they already have seven of eight allowed any-age foreigners registered in their squad. They can have two U21 foreigners too but neither Osimhen and Toney fall into that category, of course. Al Ahli already have Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, Roger Ibanez, Edouard Mendy, Franck Kessie, Merih Demiral and Gabri Veiga. So to bring in both Toney and Osimhen, they would have to get rid of one of those existing foreign players. If they are not willing to do that, only one of the strikers can join and if that's Toney, Chelsea will be pleased. It could potentially mean Osimhen becomes available on the market again and the Blues may be able to swoop in for their man. talk SPORT understands Bournemouth defender Chris Mepham is set to join Sunderland on loan. Wales international Mepham will spend the season in the Championship with the Black Cats after a deal was agreed. The 26-year-old has not been in the Cherries' squad for any of their games so far this campaign. He is already behind new signing Dean Huijsen in the pecking order while also seeing Illia Zabarnyi and Marcos Senesi ahead of him. Mepham will join up with Regis Le Bris' Sunderland who are top of the second tier after winning all three of their opening games. James Ward-Prowse is set to sign for Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan from West Ham, talk SPORT understands. Ward Prowse will head to the City Ground on a straight loan that doesn't include an option to buy. The midfielder's advisers had been actively contacting other Premier League clubs to try and generate interest. That came after the Hammers made the midfielder available for a departure from the London Stadium this summer. Julen Lopetegui was keen on signing Carlos Soler in a move that would have sent Ward-Prowse further down the pecking order. Therefore, the 29-year-old leaving the club now opens the door for PSG midfielder Soler to now sign for West Ham. Sam Johnstone has left Crystal Palace to join Wolves for £10million. The goalkeeper requested to leave Palace after losing his place as No. 1 shot-stopper at the club to Dean Henderson. And he has got his move to a fellow Premier League side where he will be competing with Jose Sa for a starting spot. Speaking about joining Wolves, Johnstone said: “I’m absolutely buzzing. I’m finally here, excited to get going and I can't wait to put on the shirt. “I've got good memories from this area, so it's nice to be back up north. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it down south, it was a different adventure for me and my family, but being back up north, it is home, and I’m glad to be here in front of the Wolves fans. “It's a massive club, from the outside looking in, it's a really good club, and I've noticed that for the first two days being here. "I've also worked with Neil Cutler – the goalie coach – before, who I love working with, and it's time to keep going, keep improving, and play football. ” He continued: “The ambitions are to push up the table. We obviously saw the results last year and how the team plays was really good. “This season, I think is to go again and top that and keep pushing. "I think that's everyone's ambition, from everyone in the club, not to just survive in the Premier League, but to obviously compete, win games, and go to big teams and win games and finish as high as possible. ” Neal Maupay's departure from Everton has been confirmed. The French striker has signed for Marseille on an initial loan deal which includes an obligation to buy at the end of the season. Maupay made 32 appearances for the Toffees across two years at the club, only managing to score one goal. He spent last season on loan at Brentford but now will be heading to his home country to try and re-find his goalscoring form. After seemingly missing out on Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen, Chelsea have suffered multiple blows this morning. And now they're having to move on to another target. According to Ben Jacobs, the Blues could make a move for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran as an alternative, with Trevoh Chalobah potentially part of that deal. When it comes to departures, youngster Deivid Washington is set to leave and join Strasbourg for around £17. 5million. Washington has only made three appearances for Chelsea after joining last summer and now he will be joining the fellow Todd Boehly-owned Ligue 1 club. Goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic is also looking likely to be signing for Strasbourg on loan before the deadline. Birmingham City could be set to completely smash the League One transfer record. .. The Blues have already broken the English third-tier record twice this summer by signing Christoph Klarer and Willum Willumsson for around £4million each. But now they could be about to blow that out of the water! They have bid £9million for Fulham striker Jay Stansfield, offering an amount of money never seen before in the division. Stansfield spent last season on loan at the club in the Championship but looked set to stay at the Cottagers as part of Marco Silva's squad this term. However, with Birmingham willing to spend big a move could happen and they're aiming to get it done before the deadline.
