FT: Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren Hibernian head coach David Gray is happy that his side came from behind to take a point against St Mirren but thinks it could have been more. "We find ourselves a goal down, we have to settle with a point because at least the players fight right until the very end, " he tells BBC Scotland. "I feel, for us to keep improving, the game should be out of sight. The chances we missed first half, big moments in the game. If we take our chances and we're more clinical, it's a very different afternoon. "St Mirren are a constant threat, they're always in the game. We reacted well, pushed towards the very end. I can't fault the players' effort. Their character was tested again today and there's loads of positives to take from it. " FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk Not surprisingly perhaps given his side are at the foot of the Premiership, Jimmy Thelin is expecting "a busy transfer window deadline day". The Aberdeen boss adds: "We have a clear plan what we want to do. We have identified things we want to improve and we're working really hard so we'll see what happens. " FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk As manager Jimmy Thelin mentioned, his side have failed to score or win in their three Premiership matches this season and, being the worst record of all the teams, they are unsurprisingly rooted to the foot of the table. However, their top-flight woes are a continuation from last season. Aberdeen have now lost their last seven games in the Premiership - their longest losing streak in the competition for more than 10 years. FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Scotland: The level we're performing right now in our calmness of play and decision making as a team is not good enough and that's my responsibility. We need to sit down now and find a way to win games. " On the red card for Nick Devlin, the Swede adds: "I haven't seen it yet. But it was a red card and it was then difficult for us to get a result - but we could've stayed in the game better. I think we can do better when we're a man down and try to keep a clean sheet. "It's small things and we have to make better decisions under pressure. That's the main thing for us just now. "We have no points and no goals. Some of the performances have been okay, but it's not good enough. " FT: Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: "It was a terrific game of football, first and foremost. Both teams played some really good stuff. "I thought we created a few chances. Hibs created stuff as well. They were a big danger from set plays with their delivery and their height at the back. "But I thought we played really well, controlled the game at times, created numerous chances. Our final ball, pass and decision has let us down and we have to work on that. "If you don't take your opportunities, you're always liable and it could cost you three points, which it ended up doing. Overall, perhaps a draw is a fair result against a very good Hibs side. " FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk Falkirk match winger Kyrell Wilson tells BBC Scotland: "It couldn't have been better. "A perfect debut for me but for the team as well to get a first win on the board. " The 20-year-old signed on loan from Swansea and says: "It's a whirlwind. Scored on my debut so couldn't be happier. "I got a text on Monday and came straight down. I've done two sessions, but it's a good group of lads and I feel comfortable, so I didn't need much time. "Falkirk is a good side. The football suits my style so for me, it's the right choice. " FT: Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren St Mirren will probably leave Easter Road happy with a point to go three league games without defeat, but it means they have failed to win in six Premiership games - one short of their worst run ever. Hibs will maybe be unhappy with dropping two home points, but they are still now undefeated in five top-flight games and have scored in each of their latest seven. FT: Dundee 0-2 Dundee United Ivan Dolček's four Premiership goals makes the 26-year-old United winger the league's top scorer. The scorer of the second goal at Dens Park had seven goal attempts in the derby - the highest total for a player in a single Premiership game this season. Dolček looks to be a shrewd loan signing from Slovakian club Dunajská Streda. FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk John Mc Glynn pinpointed goalscorer Kyrell Wilson for praise. "He only arrived with us yesterday and goes on the park and gets a goal, " the Falkirk boss says of the on-loan Swansea winger. "He's brought enthusiasm and drive and reaped his rewards by getting a goal. "Delighted with the win. It's our first Premiership win and we now sit with a win, a draw and a defeat, and that's good enough in this league. The guys will take a lot of confidence and belief from that. " Mc Glynn reveals that he "would like to get another couple in" before the transfer window closes tomorrow night. Kyrell Wilson scored on his Falkirk debut FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk Falkirk manager John Mc Glynn tells BBC Scotland: "I'm absolutely delighted to come up here and get three points. Everyone is going back down to Falkirk very happy. "We had to hang in there in the first half. I thought Aberdeen played well, but we also defended well and created opportunities. "We had to dig in in the first half and we made the extra-man advantage count in the second half. I don't think the sending off was malicious, it was an honest attempt on the ball, but I haven't watched it back. "We showed good composure. Aberdeen set up very well and made it difficult for us, but we were persistent and kept at it. " FT: Dundee 0-2 Dundee United United won the Dundee derby comfortably despite their 10 goal attempts being their lowest total in a single match in the Premiership this season. Indeed, Jim Goodwin's side have scored in their latest five top-flight games. As Steven Pressley was saying, the hosts are having problems causing a goal threat, with on-loan Hearts midfielder Yan Dhanda's two shots against United being the joint-highest total for a Dundee player in the Premiership this season. FT: Dundee 0-2 Dundee United Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin: "We're delighted with the result, it's exactly what we wanted. "The clean sheet was really important as well. "I don't think we've defended terribly from open play up to now. Set plays have cost us in a number of the games that we've been involved in, but today we showed that over the last couple of weeks, with that break that we've had, we've been able to spend a bit more time on the training pitch and go through the shape of the team without the ball and obviously spent a lot of time working on our set-play set-up. "And today I thought the boys were excellent. "The overall performance was really pleasing from back to front. " FT: Dundee 0-2 Dundee United Dundee head coach Steven Pressley tells BBC Scotland: "From an offensive perspective, we certainly have to do better. We lacked, in the first half, a little bit of thrust. "We got a little bit more thrust in the second half, but our final pass, our final decision wasn't right. "And, over the course of the 90 minutes, we didn't deserve anything from the game. I'm aware of that. "We're at the early stages just now. We've improved a lot in our defensive actions, but now we have to improve in our offensive actions and we'll continue to work on that. We'll continue to strive to be better in that area, but we know that, we know, and it's finding the balance. " FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Falkirk Not only have Falkirk just recorded their first top-flight victory in 15 years but Scott Arfield played for the Bairns in both games. Since that 2-1 win over St Mirren on 10 April 2010, the 36-year-old midfielder has gone on to play for Huddersfield Town, Burnley, Rangers, Charlotte and Bolton Wanderers, not to mention Scotland B and Canada. Matthew Mac Dermid blows the full-time whistle! On the replay, it actually looked like there was another handball even before Jayden Richardson's. It's a messy, messy end to a brilliantly entertaining game. Miguel Freckleton's goal had St Mirren ahead on the hour before Rocky Bushiri bundled in the equaliser. Both sides had chances to win, but Hibs had the better quality of opportunities throughout. They'll feel more aggrieved to only have a point out of this. Rocky Bushiri (left) rescued a point for Hibs Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren Well, that doesn't look great for Jayden Richardson. Thibault Klidje hacks towards goal and the ball strikes at least one of Richardson's arms. It's very close to him. I've no idea if this will get given. Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren Hibs get a corner. It's swung into the box, it bounces awkwardly and there's a huge shout for handball! Matthew Mac Dermid hasn't given anything. .. yet. The referee's stopped play. It's NOT full-time. Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren Hibs launch a late counter attack through Thibault Kildje and he's into the box. The striker goes down! But it's a great tackle from Marcus Fraser. Hibernian 1-1 St Mirren Hibs are knocking on the door for a winner! Kieron Bowie has a shot blocked in the box before Josh Mulligan drags his shot wide. It feels like there's still a goal in this. .. Redemption for Falkirk at Pittrodie. A strike into the centre of the goal by new loan signing Kyrell Wilson means the Bairns secure their first Premiership win in 15 years. It'll be disappointment for 10-man Aberdeen as they suffer their third league defeat in as many matches. Zac Sapsford celebrates opening the scoring in the first half At a glance Dundee remain without a top-flight win under Steven Pressley Jim Goodwin's side record first win in Scottish Premiership season United open scoring through Zac Sapsford's close-range effort A dominant Dundee United secured their first Scottish Premiership win of the season as they edged a blunt and disjointed Dundee side, who remain winless in the top flight after the Tayside derby. Zac Sapsford was allowed too much time in the area to sweep his side into a first-half lead that they seldom looked like relinquishing as they remain unbeaten in the league at Dens Park since 2016. A stop-start second half was not always conducive to free-flowing football, but the game was effectively over when Ivan Dolcek blasted in from close range to double the visitors' lead 15 minutes from time. United manager Jim Goodwin revealed this week that the club put a heavy emphasis on the derby when giving new recruits a presentation on the club. Given that nine of their starting XI were new this season, it was clear they were all up for it from the off. An early Will Ferry tackle was met with fist pumps and cheers from the travelling support as United hemmed Dundee inside their defensive third for large swathes of the opening 45 minutes. Dolcek was often a nuisance for the hosts and drove United forward multiple times, seeing shots blocked a few times too, as the Croat piled pressure on a disjointed Dundee. On-loan Liverpool defender Luca Stephenson was able to drive down the right-hand side, once again exploiting Dundee's weakness, and cut it back for Sapsford, who side-footed his side into an away lead. When attacking, Steven Pressley's side looked toothless and unable to find an effective route to goal. Yan Dhanda, on loan from Hearts, opted against shots from distance and continued to pass it around the edge of the area, summing up their fragmented approach to the game. United were able to keep any Dundee attacks at bay and, despite looking unlikely at times to find a second, remained in control and were out of sight when the impressive Dolcek's rasping strike secured their first three points of the season towards the end of the 90. Dundee's average positions Dundee's left-hand side let them down in the opening 45 minutes and was the reason they fell behind so easily. Pressley has favoured a back five this season, with Luke Graham (22) the furthest left centre-half, and Imari Samuels (12) playing as the wing-back. However, the above graphic of average positions for the hosts shows that Samuels wasn't offering any wide cover, and instead playing in front of Graham. This may well be on the instructions of the coaching staff, but United were ready to exploit it either way. Liverpool loanee Stephenson and attacker Dolcek - who was terrific - routinely breezed down the right flank, particularly in the opening half. United's first goal saw Stephenson play a one-two with Dolcek who was out wide, with paint on his boots, and then cut it back - all down the right. Jim Goodwin and his staff knew how to hurt Dundee, and his players were ruthless. Dundee United routinely favoured the right-hand side Dundee head coach Steven Pressley: "From an offensive perspective, we certainly have to do better. We lacked, in the first half, a little bit of thrust. "We got a little bit more thrust in the second half, but our final pass, our final decision wasn't right. "And over the course of the 90 minutes, we didn't deserve anything from the game. I'm aware of that. "We're at the early stages just now, we've improved a lot in our defensive actions, but now we have to improve in our offensive actions and we'll continue to work on that. We'll continue to strive to be better in that area, but we know that, we know, and it's finding the balance. "You can improve in offensive aspects and then not in the defensive. We've improved defensively, now we need to improve offensively and that will only come with time, perseverance and a lot of work on the training ground. " Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin: "We're delighted with the result, it's exactly what we wanted. The clean sheet was really important as well. "I don't think we've defended terribly from open play up to now, set plays have cost us in a number of the games that we've been involved in, but today we showed that over the last couple of weeks, with that break that we've had, we've been able to spend a bit more time on the training pitch and go through the shape of the team without the ball and obviously spent a lot of time working on our set-play set-up. "And today I thought the boys were excellent. "The overall performance was really pleasing from back to front, showed good composure, good bravery on the ball at times to play our way out of trouble and scored a couple of really good goals as far as we're concerned. " Both sides return to action after the international break. Dundee host Motherwell on Saturday 13 September (15: 00 BST), while United are away to Hibs the same day (17: 45 BST).
