Okay, I'm off to see if anyone is letting out their garden shed for a week in Boston or Providence next summer. We'll resume our coverage nearer kick-off time at Rugby Park. The radio team are still going full steam ahead. FT: Hibernian 3-0 Falkirk Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "Really positive. Everything I asked the players to do, I saw. They were on the front foot, real dominant performance, first half. "Second half, credit to Falkirk, they had a real go and were more direct at times. We got the third goal at a good time. "We will play better than we did in the second half, but at the same time they showed resilience, kept a clean sheet and we've given ourselves a good platform to build on. "I don't like singling players out, but Josh [Mulligan] set the tone. His performance was excellent, with and without the ball. His desire to run forward and play with that intensity, and he deserved the man of the match. FT: St Mirren 2-0 Dundee United Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "I think the game turned on those two key moments [the goals]. It summed up the afternoon and summed up the last few weeks for us in terms of not defending the box well enough. "St Mirren were better in those ugly moments. In the second half we had great opportunities. We had a great chance in the first half, and if that goes in, it changes the perspective of the game. "We're on a tough run, we're not shying away from that. We deserve all the criticism that comes our way. We've had too many draws and a defeat today. "There's no other way to get out of it other than working hard on the training pitch and sticking together. It takes hard work, a lot of teams this season have been on tricky runs and have had to fight hard to get out the other side, and we're no different to anyone else. " FT: Dundee 1-3 Aberdeen Dundee boss Steven Pressley tells BBC Scotland: "I'm extremely disappointed because, especially with the ball, I think it's the best we've played all season. We controlled long periods of the game with possession, we always looked a danger and I was really proud of the group. "Against the ball we were really aggressive in our pressure and we worked so hard in the game. We had a couple of mistakes that put us on the back foot but we responded brilliantly. "When we got the goal back I was confident we would get something from the game because we were controlling it for such long periods. The final goal was a sucker punch because we'd thrown everything at it. My only complaint is that after such a positive performance we got nothing from the game. " FT: Hibernian 3-0 Falkirk Falkirk manager John Mc Glynn: "We were makers of our own downfall. We've got our own style of playing, that's no secret, we've been doing the same thing for a few years now. "We lose the ball deep in our own half for both the first and second goal. We were a little threat in the first half, but coming in 2-0 down we looked sluggish from the game on Wednesday. "The second half was much better. We've put the ball in the back of the net [disallowed goal], and if that goes for us that's 2-1. We were the better team in the second half and it could have been a turning point. "We're not going to crucify ourselves. We dust ourselves down and get ready for Hearts next week. Today, it was just a little bit too far for us. " FT: Motherwell 3-0 Livingston Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Scotland: "I don't think there was much in the game in the first half. It's a good [first] goal but we shouldn't turn our back on it. "We shot ourselves in the foot, we were playing too narrow. They hit us with a couple of counters. Second half I didn't think there was a lot in it and we give away a penalty. I've not had a chance to look at it back, I'm not interested in that to be honest. Then the game becomes difficult. "I'll sit and tell you now, Motherwell will be top four. That's not an excuse for us, but they're a very, very good team, really well drilled. I'll be surprised if they don't make top four. " FT: Dundee 1-3 Aberdeen Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Scotland: "I'm really happy for all the fans that were here today. "They were so loud for the whole game and the players are fighting so hard. I think it was a game of two halves, I thought we were really good in the first half but Dundee came out in the second half and created some momentum. "The mental capacity of the squad, the subs made a difference, so I think the team is growing. " FT: Motherwell 2-0 Livingston Martin Dowden BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park Eight league games unbeaten. Five wins and three draws. Four clean sheets in a row. Three goals in this win. Impressive stats. More so, Motherwell are currently just six points off the top. Yes, they've played one or two more games than some around them but what a season this is developing into. Fir Park is a place of joy for home fans these days with little sign of that turning. The kick-offs listed below are local times. FT: Hibernian 3-0 Falkirk Hibs did lose their way for a spell after the interval but that seems like a big win after two defeats on the spin. David Gray takes his team to Rangers and Dundee United before a festive home derby with Hearts on 27 December. FT: Hibernian 3-0 Falkirk Allan Preston Former Hearts midfielder on BBC Sportsound Falkirk were decent for 15-20 minutes in the second half but Hibs were very good. Josh Mulligan was the best player on the park by a mile. FT: Dundee 1-3 Aberdeen Willie Miller Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound Aberdeen dominated everything in the first half, with Stuart Armstrong just gliding across the grass and Marko Lazetic leading the line extremely well. What a change of attitude from Dundee after the break, full of grit and determination. It looked like Dundee might get an equaliser but Kevin Nisbet gets the opportunity and curls in with class and composure. In-form Aberdeen nudge into the top six with a hard-fought win at Dens Park. Two first-half goals from Adil Aouchiche saw the Dons take a comfortable lead into the break, but Steven Pressley's side piled on the pressure in the second half after Ryan Astley's header clawed them back into the game. But Kevin Nisbet's magnificent strike in added time sealed all three points for the visitors. It's now five defeats in six for Dundee who drop to 11th. Adil Aouchiche scored twice in the first half for Aberdeen At a glance Aouchiche scores first-half double after dominant spell for Aberdeen Armstrong hits post from Dons free-kick Astley pulls one back for resurgent Dundee in second half Nisbet scores late goal from edge of box Aberdeen moved into the top half of the Premiership despite a second half fight-back from struggling Dundee. After a shaky start on Tayside, it was Aberdeen who struck first when Adil Aouchiche latched on to Marko Lazetic's saved strike and fired beyond Jon Mc Cracken in the Dundee goal. Stuart Armstrong had the chance to double Aberdeen's advantage minutes later when his free-kick from the edge of the Dundee box crashed off Mc Cracken's post. Aouchiche grabbed the second when he latched on to a loose ball inside the Dundee box, following Jesper Karlsson's deflected effort, and side-footed into the back of the net. Ryan Astley pulled one back for Dundee in the second half when he headed in at the near post from Congreve's corner and after a brief video assistant referee check for handball the goal was confirmed. The hosts enjoyed the better of the chances in the second half but couldn't find an equaliser and Kevin Nisbet piled on the misery for Steven Pressley with a stunning strike from the edge of the box just before full-time. The result pushes Aberdeen, who are now unbeaten in six, up into the top six while Dundee remain second bottom, four points off Livingston in last place. Despite an underwhelming start, Aberdeen grew into the game in Dundee and bossed the majority of the first half. With 14 shots, five on target and eight inside the box, as well as 11 touches in the opposition box it was no real surprise they found themselves two goals to the good at the break. Aouchiche had only scored one Dons goal before Saturday and doubled that tally inside the first 45 minutes with two clinical finishes. The midfielder was in the right place at the right time to score the rebound from Lazetic's effort and then when Jesper Karlsson's shot deflected off a defender, he was there again to smash the loose ball into the back of the net. While Nisbet's late goal didn't decide the game, it was a thing of beauty and will do wonders for the striker's confidence ahead of a busy period for the Dons. That Aouchiche first-half double made it 17 first-half goals in 16 games that Dundee have conceded, more than any other in the Premiership this season. But credit to Pressley's men, after a rough start they proved their mettle in the second period. Cam Congreve was a bright spark for Pressley's side. He grabbed his sixth assist for the season when he fired in the corner for Astley's goal, having gone close to a goal himself minutes before. He forced Dimitar Mitov into a stretching save with a dipping shot from a difficult angle on the right. Astley's goal turned the tide for the hosts who, after their goal, looked the more likely to grab the next. Ethan Hamilton's shot was blocked by a host of bodies in the Aberdeen box and Yan Dhanda's effort was deflected wide of Mitov's post as the clock ticked down. They had six shots in the second half, compared to Aberdeen's four, and had 10 touches in the Dons' box. They had over 85% possession and 15 crosses (Aberdeen had two) and won four corners to Aberdeen's zero. Ultimately it came to nothing but Pressley can surely take confidence from his team's display, albeit he'll need them to do it before they find themselves two goals down. Dundee travel to bottom side Livingston on Saturday 13 December (15: 00 GMT). Aberdeen are at home to Strasbourg in the Europa Conference League on Thursday 11 December (20: 00) before welcoming Kilmarnock to Pittodrie on Sunday 14 December (15: 00). Dundee head coach Steven Pressley: "I'm extremely disappointed because, especially with the ball, I think it's the best we've played all season. "We controlled long periods of the game with possession, we always looked a danger and I was really proud of the group. "Against the ball we were really aggressive in our pressure and we worked so hard in the game. We had a couple of mistakes that put us on the back foot but we responded brilliantly.
