FT: Dundee 4-1 Motherwell Dundee manager Tony Docherty tells BBC Scotland: "Once again a fabulous win at home. I think it's really important we string our home performances together and that's three on the bounce we've won. "I'm delighted with the first goal, wasn't too pleased with the equaliser but I had a chat with them at half-time, settled them down and made sure they played with that bravery and they did that in the second half. "Motherwell will always go right to the death, they've done that to us previously but that's the development of my team is that we're seeing that through and we're making sure we defend properly, making good decisions in the final third, keeping possession and I think there's a real maturity in my team now. "I'm pleased for the home fans tonight, they played a massive part in a big win that takes us into the top six again. " FT: Rangers 6-0 Kilmarnock Billy Dodds Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound In terms of pace, tempo, aggression, Rangers had that tonight. They had the right personnel to break the Kilmarnock team down and they kept going at it. Then they got the confidence and started scoring really good goals. As good as Rangers were, Kilmarnock were as poor as I've seen them. FT: Rangers 6-0 Kilmarnock Rangers manager Philippe Clement says it is important for "the outside world" to see his side put in such an impressive attacking display. "It was not only a good win, you score six goals and it could have been more, " he tells BBC Scotland. "But also that you didn't concede one because you defended really well as a team and whoever was on the pitch, you saw the same running lines and the same danger the team created. "So it's a massive one to show everybody who was maybe talking from outside that we had difficulty against low blocks, that it's about getting coordinated runs together and to get the right movement together and that takes time. That takes work together with videos, with training and with games. "So in that way, we did better stuff the last couple of weeks but we didn't finish it off. That's why it's maybe important for the outside worldto see these six goals but also for the confidence of the players because they feel good in this way of football. " FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Scotland: "Maybe a draw today would've been a fair result. We know Celtic are quality on the ball but also our team today was really disciplined and worked hard as a unit. "In the form of chances, it was quite a tight and equal game. The chances we had at the end, it was so close, and it's so nice to see even in the weather today the fans stick with us and push us. "We get these chances at the end because of the intensity and the spirit with the fans. It was a shame not to get the point but I'm proud of the players. "Sometimes you defend well and I don't think either of the teams today created so many big chances but they put theirs in the goal and they blocked our chance so I think a draw would've been a fair result. "It was a tight game and we tried. I feel more proud of the players, we wanted at least one point but the players gave everything, we can't do more. They tried and tried and tried. "I think the good thing for us today is that the intensity was back, we are playing more like the way we want to. The players coming in in the second half, they are growing and that's good for the squad also. " FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic He knows that was a big one, doesn't he? The Celtic boss hasn't suffered a domestic defeat since March. FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "Fair play to the players, they were absolutely brilliant. That weather was as bad as I've had it, especially coming up here. "I thought both sets of players tried to play the game as best they could. I thought we deserved to win. In the first half we took control, we worked it quite well into the final third of the pitch but couldn't quite make it. "We needed to take a little bit more care in our passing in the second half. It's a huge credit to the players to keep the concentration, to defend that well - especially those few moments at the end - I'm so, so pleased. "I just felt that in time [a goal would come], we trust our process, we trust our game. Especially after winning 6-0 in the semi-final we knew Aberdeen wouldn't roll over. "They're a team that are really hard to beat, we knew it was going to be tough and we'd maybe have to take the game into the final half hour. " On whether the league title is done or not: "There are 38 games so it's nowhere near done. I understand people will look at it that way but for us there's such a long way to go. "We're trying to get through the games, play well, but there's no thought of that [title] in the players' minds. "Our culture is very much based around winning and we know we have to work very hard in our training and on the pitch to do that. " Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has just been speaking to our Tyrone Smith. We'll have quotes in a minute or two. .. FT: Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic Sky Sports Celtic defender Cameron Carter- Vickers: "Going out there to warm up it was freezing so we expected that type of difficult game. "We knew we could compete in that type of game and we showed it. "It was a big block [from Ester Sokler's chance] but I think we showed as a team we could dig in, fight for the ball and put in challenges when we need to. "You want to put the ball in the net in one end and keep it out the other. We showed fight the whole game and that helped us in the end. " Celtic defender Auston Trusty: "The team is confident, no matter how long the game goes on this team is confident we can get the win. "I think it shows the characteristics of the team, we back ourselves no matter how long it stays at 0-0. " On his relationship at the back with Carter-Vickers, Trusty added: "We've known each other for a good bit now, it's getting better and better, the chemistry is getting better and there's more to come. " Carter-Vickers made a crucial block to deny Aberdeen striker Ester Sokler late in the game FT: Dundee 4-1 Motherwell Since the start of last season, Motherwell have kept just four clean sheets in the league. That's across 52 games - a quite staggering statistic. Stuart Kettlewell's side have conceded nine goals in their last three games. FT: Rangers 6-0 Kilmarnock Jane Lewis BBC Sport Scotland at Ibrox Rangers quite simply blew Kilmarnock away in the second half. The fans inside Ibrox, those who're not leaving for home, are lapping this up. I wonder if it will silence those supporters who've been quite vocal and critical of the team's performances this season? The Rangers manager will certainly be content. He askes for more goals and his players delivered. It's a sore one for Killie, who at half time were still in this one. Aberdeen 0-1 Celtic Willie Miller Former Aberdeen captain on BBC Sportsound Aberdeen have worked so hard, they've worked so tirelessly to make it difficult for Celtic. This video can not be played Highlights: Dundee 4-1 Motherwell Dundee boss Tony Docherty challenged his side to stay in the Scottish Premiership top six after they thrashed miserable Motherwell to rise to fifth. Oluwaseun Adewumi put the hosts ahead in the 14th minute with a fine curled finish before Apostolos Stamatelopoulos fired in a near-instant equaliser. Three second-half goals eased Dundee to victory though, with Scott Tiffoney's strike on the counter putting Docherty's side back in front before a Lyall Cameron double had them out of sight. Motherwell's response was decent but they could not dent the deficit and instead recorded their third defeat in a row, falling to sixth. "I was really pleased with the performance, " Docherty said. "Motherwell will always go right to the death, but the development of my team is we're seeing that through and making sure we defend properly, make good decisions in the final third, keep possession and I think there's a real maturity in my team now. "We’re now in the top six - the challenge is stay there. " Get all your Dundee updates in one place Subscribe to Motherwell news and analysis Stuart Kettlewell spoke before the match of his side needing to stop losing "poor goals", but it did not take long for them to concede one that might be considered preventable. It was too easy for Dundee to get down Motherwell's right before Adewumi curled in a beauty from the left-hand side of the box. The initial response was strong. Stamatelopoulos reacted quickest to a loose ball and fired in an equaliser at the second bite of the cherry. But in seven second-half minutes, Dundee raced into an unassailable lead. Countering up the pitch, Tiffoney was freed and it was far too simple for him to cut inside and curl into the bottom corner. Stunned by that goal, Motherwell conceded again. The ball sat up perfectly for Cameron on the edge of the box and his strike took a huge deflection to beat Aston Oxborough. The fourth came three minutes later. Simon Murray barged Kofi Balmer off the ball and picked out Cameron in the middle, allowing him to find the corner of the net. Motherwell had chances to reduce the arrears and Ewan Wilson, Lennon Miller and Steve Seddon all had long-range drives well saved by Jon Mc Cracken. Lyall Cameron has five goals in five league games against Motherwell For large parts of the game it was Motherwell driving forward in swathes, yet it was Dundee who danced off the pitch, soaked to the skin but jubilant. After creeping into the top six last season at the first attempt following promotion from the Championship, they are now up to fifth and were applauded into the dressing room by the fans. While the Dens Park side often fly under the radar, that won't be the case for Cameron much longer. He has filled the hole Luke Mc Cowan left in midfield, becoming Docherty's most important player. Although Dundee created fewer chances than Motherwell, they looked clinical and comfortable in front of goal, while Mc Cracken - with the exception of Motherwell's goal - made a few fine saves. The other thing that Kettlewell mentioned before the match was how Motherwell must not show Dundee "any weaknesses", yet it seemed his players weren't listening. Although they had far more shots, a far higher x G (expected goals) tally, and far more touches in the opposition box, a lot of that was too little, too late. Dundee were clinical, bullying a Motherwell defence that was put to the sword by Hibernian just a few days ago. The first goal should have been stopped higher up the pitch. The second came from their own set-piece. The third was a deflection, and the fourth was a defender not wanting the ball as much as a hungry striker. The bottom has fallen out of Motherwell's strong early season form and Kettlewell needs to address it urgently. He has been on far worse runs than this, but a busy festive period is the last thing he needs. I think it's really important we string our home performances together and that's three on the bounce we've won. " Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell: "Kofi Balmer takes a knee and a stud to the head. I've had a conversation with [referee] John Beaton there and he decided to play god and decide whether it was a bad enough head knock or not. "He never moves from the ground, the counter-attack goes up the other end, I'm talking to the fourth official telling them the player has not moved inside the penalty area and we choose to play on and Dundee score.
