Chelsea are eight points clear at the top of the Women's Super League Chelsea midfielder Erin Cuthbert has signed a new contract through to the summer of 2027. The 26-year-old joined from Glasgow City in 2017, with only captain Millie Bright being at Chelsea for a longer period from the current squad. She has 256 appearances and won 12 major honours with the Blues, including seven Women's Super League titles. "If you had said to the girl who joined Chelsea eight years ago that she would still be here, I wouldn't have believed you, " said Cuthbert, who has been capped 74 times by Scotland. "I have fallen in love with a club and they have fallen in love with me. That's special. " Chelsea's head of women's football Paul Green said: "Erin is one of the leaders in the team and now in her prime. "We have seen her develop into one of the best central midfielders in the world and look forward to seeing her continue to progress in the upcoming years.
