Armando Broja is yet to score for Everton since joining on loan from Chelsea Everton striker Armando Broja will be sidelined for up to three months with an ankle ligament injury, says manager David Moyes. The 23-year-old, who joined the club on loan from Chelsea last summer, left the pitch on a stretcher following a challenge during Everton's FA Cup third-round victory over Peterborough last Thursday. The Albania international suffered an Achilles injury during pre-season which scuppered a move to Ipswich before he joined Everton. "We think he's going to be out for somewhere between 10-12 weeks, " Everton boss David Moyes said following his side's 1-0 defeat by Aston Villa on Wednesday. "It's his ankle ligaments. It'll probably mean there's a possibility that he will have to go back to Chelsea. " Broja has made just five Premier League appearances this season, without scoring. In December 2022 Broja suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury that kept him out until September the following year. Everton are 16th in the Premier League table with 17 points after 20 games, one point above the relegation zone.
