Everton have been heavily linked with Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Evan Ferguson, but he is set for a medical at West Ham United. According to journalist David Anderson, Everton have not been beaten to Ferguson though as ‘they weren’t in for him’. The club have no domestic loan spots available, but it had been suggested they could send Armando Broja back to Chelsea. Moyes would have to look to a permanent deal or a move from abroad to bolster his options. Ferguson is to join West Ham on a simple loan deal without any option or obligation to buy including in it.
