By Lewis Browning As Sky Sports always do - here are the full highlights of today's game. Come for Van De Ven's dominance, stay for Thomas Frank's joy. Unless you're an Arsenal fan, I guess. By Lewis Browning Micky Van De Ven, Tottenham defender, speaking to Sky Sports: By Lewis Browning Courtesy of our friends as Google, here's the top half - and the bottom half - of the Premier League table. Arsenal seem to be running away with it! But you would have won a lot of money betting on Bournemouth, Tottenham and Sunderland being two to four at this stage. Worrying signs for Liverpool, while United sit pretty in sixth. Everton are 14th. Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Wolves make up the bottom three. By Lewis Browning Gary Neville, former Manchester United defender, Sky Sports: By Lewis Browning A bit of a weird one, that, wasn't it? Everton were good, but, at the same time, Spurs didn't really need to get out of second gear. I guess set pieces are the name of the game these days. If you struggle to defend them, you are in trouble. Still, Spurs get the job done, and both sides will now move on from this with plenty to ponder. The visitors do need to be better - and Everton will hope it's a blip. By Lewis Browning Most of the Everton fans have left, but the Spurs fans are still here and singing loud and proud. I was criticial of Spurs earlier. Come on - they haven't been great. But the league table does not lie. This is a blow to Everton, but not season-defining. And there's the whistle. A large cheers from the away end. By Lewis Browning Five minutes to be added on here. Spurs are brining on Tel. Brennan Johnson makes way. The stadium is empty. This one is well done. By Lewis Browning Another Everton change, with Alcaraz - the man to lose his spot to Grealish this week - on for Gueye. Remember earlier when I asked if anyone had any FPL interest in this? There must be some of you who have Van De Ven. Richarlison goes close after a cross from Sarr, but the flag is up. Pickford is not happy. NOW IT'S THREE! SARR WITH THE HEADER! Porro puts in a great cross to the back post. Richarlison heads back across goal. Sarr is there to put the icing on the cake. Tottenham are going third! By Lewis Browning Everton are still pushing but, to be honest, they aren't looking like threatening much. Vicario has been busy, but not majorly tested too much. Vicario this time punches Grealish's cross. The former (? ) England man wins a corner. It comes to nothing. Time is running out! By Lewis Browning Fans boo again, wanting a penalty, but nothing is giving there. A proper coming together. Tarkowski then things he has scored, but Palhinha gets back to block and celebrates as defensive players now do. Vicario is called into action again as Dewsbury-Hall feeds Barry, but the pass is too heavy and the goalkeeper gathers. Another change for Spurs as Sarr replaces Kudus. By Lewis Browning The rain is belting down now. Very tough conditions. Jack Grealish is now booked for dissent. Bentancur stops the counter attack but doesn't see yellow - Grealish now does. Good save! Grealish gives it to Ndiaye on the edge of the box and he shoots, with the effort taking two deflections. Vicario gets down low to save again. A penalty appeal now as Gueye goes down under the challenge from Kudus! By Lewis Browning Richarlison gets the better of Tarkowski and runs at goal. It's him vs Jordan Pickford - and the England No 1 comes out on top. I think he told Richarlison to chip him, too. Changes now for Everton. Beto off, Barry on. O'Brien off, Rohl on. Garner to right back. Half a chance for the Toffees as Dewsbury-Hall plays it to Mykolenko on the left but his cross is poor. By Lewis Browning Porro and Kudus are over the ball. It's very central. Kudus takes, off the wall for a corner. He takes the corner too - but it's over Bentancur's head at the far post. The first subs of the game, now. Richarlison comes on to a good reception, with Simons - who is not happy - making way. Kolo Muani is also off. By Lewis Browning Danso fires in another long throw. As Gary Neville has just pointed out on Sky, Spurs are taking ages with them. It's headed for Van De Ven, who is looking to become the first-ever Premier League player to score a hat-trick, but it's headed away at the near post. Kudus is tripped by Garner on the edge of the box, and we have our first yellow card of the game. By Lewis Browning Everton are enjoying a lot of the ball but there is next to no end product on offer. Fans call for the players to give Grealish options. A BIG SAVE! Ndiaye gets his cross in and Beto tries the spectacular. I really thought it was in - but Vicario gets low and flaps away with a strong arm. The Toffees well on top here. By Lewis Browning Everton on the ball early but Grealish can't keep Tarkowski's pass in play and Spurs win the throw. Simons does well this time gives it to Johnson but he can't get a shot away. Everton break, but Spurs are back well and there's a small penalty appeal as Dewsbury-Hall hits the deck under pressure from Danso. He missed it all, though, and the midfielder sort of jumps. Ndiaye ends the period of play by poking wide. By Lewis Browning The hosts get us back underway. Quit the hill to climb for Everton. By Lewis Browning A bit, anyway. His side haven't been great, but are on their way to three points here at what has become one of the hardest places to go in the Premier League. He has his big centre half to thank. Plenty to ponder, though, because Spurs have been lackluster in a number of other areas. The second half will be getting underway soon. By Lewis Browning Gary Neville, former Manchester United defender, Sky Sports: By Lewis Browning There's the whistle. Disaster for Everton. Their unbeaten home record in this new stadium is at serious risk. There are loud boos from the fans, but it's aimed at officials more than anything. By Lewis Browning Grealish takes a whack from Kudus' free kick but is fine to continue. Three corners in a row for Spurs. AND THEY ADD A SECOND! MICKY VAN DE VEN AT THE DOUBLE! Do Everton now have set piece problems? ! Porro's corner is absolutely wicked. It's whipped in, right on top of Pickford, and Van De Ven nips in to head in once again! By Lewis Browning Spurs give it away in midfield again - Palhinha this time. Grealish gives it to Beto and there are groans as the forward takes it back into midfield. Seven minutes added on. A roar from the home crowd. Their team have still been the better side. Everton on the ball as Kudus gives it away. A miscommunication then as Gueye turns his back on Mykolenko and Vicario gathers. By Lewis Browning Ndiaye comes forward for Everton and Van De Ven cuts it out. The Hill Dickinson finally lets out a roar, taking a break from the boos. Ohhhh. Ndiaye's cross is really good and is in behind Spurs' defence. Van De Ven gets a really important touch to take it away from Beto - who arguably should do better anyway. By Lewis Browning Plenty going on in the Everton penalty box as Danso lines up a long throw and Pickford has to tip a header over the bar. A bit of a clash for this next ball into the box. Grealish is angered by Van De Ven and the referee will have a word. He has come running about 20 yards to get involved in a spat with Pickford and the Spurs defender, I think. Kudus' corner is cleared this time. OH! I thought it was in. Kolo Muani feeds Bentancur on the edge of the box, who volleys, and it is ever so close. Simons strides forward and Spence is to his left. Simons somehow gets his pass horribly wrong - been another poor showing from the attacking midfielder, this. By Lewis Browning I think they are going to rule this out. Ndiaye is goal side of Vicario as O'Brien heads towards goal. He impedes him. My initial thought is they are looking at a foul, but they now want to know if it's offside. I don't think I would overturn it, but they will. Craig Pawson has gone to the screen. Yep. It stays 1-0. By Lewis Browning Garner shoots from distance and I think it's going wife, but Vicario gets a hand to it anyway. AND THE RESULTING CORNER BRINGS A GOAL! WE ARE LEVEL! Another set piece goal. Dewsbury-Hall's corner is met by Jake O'Brien and he heads home! Oh no. .. here comes VAR. By Lewis Browning Spurs really have not been great so far, but that is a really impressive goal. It looks like Bentancur has actually shouldered it back across goal there. That is class. A break now as Simons receives treatment. He will be fine to carry on. O'Brien's long throw ultimately comes to nothing. By Lewis Browning Simons gives the ball away in the last line of defence as Gueye slides in to get there ahead of Danso. Vicario races out to beat Vicario to the ball, but the flag is up. AND WE HAVE OUR OPENER! MICKY VAN DE VEN! It's a fantastic corner from Kudus and Bentancur heads it back across goal. Van De Ven is pretty much on the line and heads it home. Everton concede from a corner for the first time this season. By Lewis Browning Grealish's ball into the box is headed away. The forward is having a lot of joy on the left. Mykolenko's cross is then spooned into Vicario's arms. Beto has a run into the box and slips in the box. There was contact, but it was forward standing on defender rather than the other way around. The wingers aren't lining up as I thought they would for Spurs, by the way. It's Simons on the left, Johnson right, and Kudus through the middle. By Lewis Browning A very small penalty appeal for Tottenham as Xavi Simons hits the deck in the area but it's actually a really good tackle from Michael Keane. Kudus is looking threatening once again, cutting in from the right onto his left. Everton now with the ball as they look to get Grealish on it as much as possible By Lewis Browning A long ball threatens to find its way through to Mykolenko, but it is too heavy from Pickford and Vicario gathers. OH! What a save! Ndiaye does so well on the right and Beto misses his cross. Grealish is at the back post, however, and his effort is blocked by Porro! Good start from the hosts. By Lewis Browning Any FPL interest in this one. Just Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall for me. Budget midfielder and all that. Anyway, we are underway on Merseyside. Spurs get us started! By Lewis Browning It's been absolutely chucking it down here, but the rain has somewhat died down now. The players are making their ways onto the field! It's always some atmosphere here. Spirit of the Blues is catchy. By Lewis Browning Ashley Young, former Everton defender, Sky Sports: By Lewis Browning No, it's not sarcasm. The welcome actually was warm. In an alternate universe, Richarlison is leading the line for Everton today. He made 152 appearances for the club before joining Spurs. He won't be getting booed today. By Lewis Browning Here are the Spurs players! It's a really big one for them today. The could do with putting on a show to ease any concerns of a real dip in form. The goalkeepers out on to warm up too on a chilly Merseyside. By Lewis Browning Here are what Sky Bet are saying about today's game in terms of the odds: The Toffees the favourites! Says a lot. By Lewis Browning Harry Redknapp, former Tottenham manager, speaking to football betting site Bet Victor: By Lewis Browning Our friends at Squawka, as they always do, have produced a nice little stat pack ahead of tonight's game. It makes for interesting reading. Tottenham are scoring more goals than Everton, but creating fewer chances. Mohammed Kudus is the player in focus. Is he key for Spurs today? By Lewis Browning Thomas Frank, Tottenham manager: By Lewis Browning David Moyes, Everton manager: By Lewis Browning It was a comfortable start to the season for Spurs under Thomas Frank - especially after the disaster of last season under the stewardship of Ange Postecoglou. But they have, in truth, looked pretty toothless of late. They have lost and drawn their last two matches - with the defeat coming against Aston Villa in their last Premier League match before a draw with Monaco in midweek. Thomas Frank needs to switch it up. He will be hoping that starts today. By Lewis Browning It was a 2-0 defeat at Manchester City last time out for Everton. But hey - that won't define their season. They look right at home at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and this will be a mega test for Tottenham today. Everton sit 14th in the table, but could move into the top 10 with a win today. Evertonians will absolutely take that. Just one, drama-free season. .. By Lewis Browning And here's what Thomas Frank has gone with! Randal Kolo Muani starts for Tottenham for the first time. He is flanked by Brennan Johnson and Mohamed Kudus. Kevin Danso continues to deputise for Cristian Romero. By Lewis Browning Here's the team David Moyes has picked to start today's game. Jack Grealish is back in the XI after missing the game against parent club Manchester City last week. Beto leads the line. By Lewis Browning Gooooood afternoon one and all and welcome to Daily Mail Sport's live coverage of Everton vs Tottenham in the Premier League. It's the final match of the weekend, and it's been a corker. Liverpool lost again, United won again, and Arsenal are on the verge of it. .. But we are on Merseyside for the 10th match of the last 48 hours, and we are hoping these two teams can live up to what are high expectations. Nonetheless - no time to waste! Team news is in. Neville on, sound off.
