Falkirk 0-0 Rangers Neil Mc Cann Former Falkirk & Rangers winger on Sky Sports Falkirk are absolutely battering Rangers in the wide areas. Celtic 0-0 Motherwell Martin Dowden BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park The pace of this is ferocious already. Motherwell are sticking to their principles but Celtic are swarming all over that when the visitors try to build from the back. There's a real tempo to this contest, something Celtic in particular have been missing of late. Falkirk 0-0 Rangers Calvin Miller is getting plenty of joy down the left. He whips in a delicious ball, but Derek Cornelius just nips ahead of Kyrell Wilson. Rangers are not looking comfortable at the back, with Falkirk on corner number three already. Aberdeen 0-0 Dundee It must be a first league goal for Aberdeen. It must be. .. It isn't. A simple long ball over the top is well controlled by Jesper Karlsson. He's into the box, but spins back and instead of shooting, lays it on a plate for Kevin Nisbet with the goalie stranded. The Scotland striker goes for goal, but a Dee defender gets back to clear off the line. Falkirk 0-0 Rangers Kheredine Idessane BBC Scotland at the Falkirk Stadium To say the game is open is an understatement. Both sides playing a very high line, Rangers already having a goal ruled out for offside against Mikey Moore before Djeidi Gassama knocked in the rebound. High energy start from both sides. This will not end 0-0. Celtic 0-0 Motherwell Motherwell lose the ball cheaply again 20 yards from their goal, but Daizen Maeda's tame effort is easy for Calum Ward to deal with. Aberdeen 0-0 Dundee Aberdeen come up the pitch in retaliation and Stuart Armstrong tries to pick out Jesper Karlsson. He fluffs his first shot, but the balls comes back to him and he slices an effort at goal. It bobbles towards Emmanuel Gyamfi at the back post, but he's unable to hit a clean strike and Jon Mc Cracken smothers. Falkirk 0-0 Rangers Mikey Moore has acres of room down the right to run into and strikes at Scott Bain. The parry is right into the path of Djeidi Gassama and the forward lashes home, but the offside flag is immediately up. The VAR check doesn't take long. Celtic 0-0 Motherwell Callum Mc Gregor can't believe he hasn't opened the scoring. Motherwell are dispossessed in their defensive third and the Celtic captain has a close-range effort saved brilliantly by Calum Ward. Aberdeen 0-0 Dundee It's Dundee who fire the first shot in anger. Cameron Congreve skips away from his man on the right, cuts in centrally and has a go just outside the box. He gets power on it, but Dimitar Mitov saves. Celtic 0-0 Motherwell Another dangerous cross from Motherwell, this one from Ibrahim Said, and Celtic clear again. Falkirk 0-0 Rangers First slip on the artificial surface from Nico Raskin. It leads to a Falkirk corner, but it goes straight into the gloves of Jack Butland. Celtic 0-0 Motherwell Emmanuel Longelo gets a dangerous Motherwell cross into the Celtic box within seconds of the first whistle before the hosts charge forward. Could be in for an end-to-end game. Here we go. Falkirk v Rangers (15: 00) Kilmarnock boss Stuart Kettlewell is among those watching in Falkirk. His team are sitting pretty in third place after beating St Mirren yesterday. Stuart Kettlewell's Kilmarnock face Rangers in the second game back after the international break Falkirk v Rangers (15: 00) Richard Foster Former Rangers defender on BBC Sportsound The intensity off the ball has been missing for Rangers. They give their opponent's ways into the game. They make afternoons difficult for themselves. All the pressure is on them. Falkirk v Rangers (15: 00) Falkirk have yet to win at home on their return to the Premiership but will be heartened by Rangers' unwanted club record of 23 away games without a clean sheet, which stretches back to early December last year. Celtic v Motherwell (15: 00) Martin Dowden BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park Normally, you'd expect Celtic to win this without too much fuss. Things aren't that straightforward for Brendan Rodgers' side right now and the challenge is heightened by a visiting side who remain unbeaten in the league and well drilled in what they do. Celtic simply need to find goals with far more regularity to lift the mood around the club and their support. For Motherwell, it feels like a big opportunity but also a game where they might be able to judge just how far they've come since the start of the campaign. Can Sebastian Tounekti open up the Motherwell defence? Falkirk v Rangers (15: 00) Kheredine Idessane BBC Scotland at the Falkirk Stadium Rangers have back to back wins, at least on the domestic front. After knocking Hibs out of the League Cup there was that last-gasp winner at Livingston last week. Three in a row in Scotland is surely a must for Russell Martin and his side. They can't afford to go into the international break more than nine points behind league leaders Hearts with just seven Premiership matches played. They also have two home games in the league after this, against Dundee United and Kilmarnock. It looks like now or never for the beleaguered boss at Ibrox if he's to get that tanker turning. Celtic v Motherwell (15: 00) Motherwell boss Jen Berthel Askou tells BBC Scotland: "Hopefully we'll play better than we have because we need that to get three points against a top side. "We'll need Calum [Ward] to pull out a good couple of saves. I see a team that have grown and players who are excited and confident they can do something here. "At Tynecastle when the pressure mounted suddenly out of nowhere, we have dealt with that really well the next time we had something similar coming at us. "I'm really excited to see how effective we'll be today. " Henry Cartwright's strike earned Falkirk a point At a glance Rangers' fifth draw in seven league games increases pressure on head coach Martin Visitors lead through Miovski tap-in but Cartwright's second-half strike from distance earns Falkirk point Rangers in eighth place, 11 points behind leaders Hearts, while Falkirk are 10th A stunning second-half equaliser from Falkirk piled more pressure on under-fire Rangers boss Russell Martin, whose side had to settle for a fifth Scottish Premiership draw in their opening seven games. It looked like the visitors might hang on to the first-half advantage provided by striker Bojan Miovski's first league goal, but a fabulous hit from home substitute Henry Cartwright flew past a bewildered Jack Butland. Only a fine late save from Butland denied Brian Graham a late winner as Falkirk piled forward in search of all three points. There was much to admire about the home side's structure, energy and enterprise all match but they couldn't convert their early dominance into a goal and were left stunned by Miovski's tap-in just before half-time, laid on a plate for him with a delicious delivery from deputising left-back Derek Cornelius. It was one of the few moments of quality before the break from the visitors, who were denied an early breakthrough when Scott Bain's save from Mikey Moore fell to Djeidi Gassama to fire home, only to be ruled offside. Will previous calls sway Rangers as Martin pressure mounts? Are Scots 'navel-gazing' or are things that bad in Europe? All the Rangers latest in one place In between that effort being chalked off and Miovski poking home, Falkirk ran Rangers ragged at times with constant movement and threat. Butland made a good save from Ross Mac Iver before looking on with relief as Kyrell Wilson put the loose ball wide. There was a similar expression on the English goalkeeper's face when Ethan Williams also blasted narrowly wide with the game still goalless. The play was scrappier after the break but fiercely contested as Falkirk pushed for an equaliser and Rangers repelled them. Mac Iver came close to levelling but his header from substitute Alfredo Agyeman's cross dropped wide. Falkirk, though, would not be denied the equaliser their effort, determination and quality deserved. It left the travelling Rangers fans furious and the home supporters singing "You're getting sacked in the morning". The reaction from the Rangers hierarchy will be fascinating as the Ibrox side loses yet more ground on league leaders Hearts and arch-rivals Celtic. The only thing that will do for Rangers and Martin is victories. For a while it looked like they might get one despite not playing well. Falkirk kept plugging away, however, and Rangers simply couldn't keep them out. The good work (if not the goodwill) created by the League Cup win over Hibernian and the first Premiership victory at Livingston would only count for something if Rangers could build on it. They failed in terms of the result and performance. No one could begrudge Falkirk a share of the spoils and the question now remains: will one league win from their opening seven, with supporters openly calling for his head, be enough to keep the manager in a job over the international break? This was a thoroughly merited point for Falkirk. Had they won, Rangers could not have had too many complaints. John Mc Glynn's side are easy on the eye, play some lovely football and cannot be faulted for effort or energy. If they can find more moments of quality like the one produced by Cartwright, and score more goals, Falkirk will be absolutely fine. They're giving themselves a decent platform on their return to the top tier. Falkirk manager John Mc Glynn: "I thought we started the game with a great intensity and pressed really and was gutted for the players to go in down at the break. But we had the spirit to come back and I'm delighted Henry goes on and scores with an amazing strike. "I think it's no more than we deserved over the whole 96 minutes. All in all, maybe we could've and maybe should've have got all three points. " Rangers head coach Russell Martin: "I see a team who are trying very hard, running as hard as they can, a team who played well at times today, defended really well at times today, but I think we need to really want more. "Draws won't do anywhere if you really want to go and win things, so we're frustrated. "I don't think anything I say will help that [fans] right now so we just need to win football matches. " After back-to-back league games on the road for Rangers, it's back to Ibrox when the Premiership resumes in a fortnight with Dundee United heading to Glasgow on Saturday 18 October (15: 00). Falkirk's first assignment after the international break on the same day (also 15: 00) could be one for the purists: the Bairns are away to Motherwell. After the opportunity to rate players has closed, the score displayed represents the average from all the submissions by BBC Sport users.
