The innovative league - a weekly indoor six-a-side-tournament launched in Germany in 2023 - has arrived in the UK and is fronted by You Tube phenomenon KSI. Broadcast live on Sky Sports and You Tube, the competition is made up of 12 teams run by a number of influencers, celebrities and football legends, including the likes of Gary Lineker, John Terry, Luis Figo and Alan Shearer. Several Premier League players have also put their money into the cause with Liverpool forward Diogo Jota joining up with Manchester United duo Diogo Dalot and Mason Mount to get the multi-million investment off the ground. But KSI's commentary on Monday irritated viewers, with some even turning over. Taking to X, one spectator said: 'KSI has single handedly ruined this week's Baller League. God awful commentary. ' 'Someone take KSI off of Baller League commentary please, ' a third user said. Continuing the theme, another viewer shared a gif captioned 'make it stop' and added the words, 'KSI commentating on Baller League'. A fifth user posted a photo of a man holding a remote, saying 'KSI on commentary'. Terry, Figo, Lineker and Shearer are all managers, along with Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg, Jens Lehmann, Ian Wright, Chloe Kelly and Micah Richards. Social media stars Miniminter, TBJZL and Angry Ginge are also involved, with rapper Dave and TV/radio host Maya Jama part of the manager line-up, too. The league is made up of 12 teams. The final four at the end of the season progress to the semi-finals, before the final decides the winner of the league. With 11 matchweeks in the season, teams play each other once with no bye-weeks blank gameweeks for any team.
