Diego Costa may have left England - but he certainly didn't leave his bad behaviour in the Premier League. The 35-year-old was recently shown a red card for Gremio's B side in a cup match consisting of mostly Under-20 players in his native Brazil. And in classic Costa fashion, the ex-Chelsea striker was given his marching orders for starting a fight in the Copa FGF clash against Juventude B on Wednesday. In footage that has been doing the rounds on social media, Costa could be seen angrily reacting to getting tripped up by an opposing player. He immediately squared up to the player to confront him, where he put his arm around the individual. Costa then proceeded to walk the player backwards, before appearing to push him away in the throat. At that point, the players in question were surrounded by the referee and both sets of squads as they looked to usher Costa away. Both Costa and the Juventude player were then sent off following the incident which occurred in the 53rd minute. Gremio proceeded to lose in the fourth round clash, which was made up of a few senior squad members with the majority being U20 players. Some football fans were loving Costa's antics, with it being a throwback to what they were used to witnessing during his time spent at Chelsea and Wolves. One X user said: "Never change Diego, never change. " Another messaged: "This guy is nuts but I’m here for it. " This fan then joked: "Costa would fight himself in the mirror. " Though many other questioned his behaviour considering the majority of players on the pitch were youngsters. One fan posted: "Dunno why people laugh at this it’s just strange behaviour. " This Gremio supporter then remarked: "You can sail away calmly at the end of the year. " Another followed that up by saying: "Time for him to pack his bags and leave at the end of the year. " Costa linked up with Gremio earlier this year, where he has scored seven goals in 15 first team games in all competitions. With a contract running until the end of December, it remains to be seen whether he will be rewarded with a new deal.
