20/08/2024 - 17: 48 BST Sam Sengupta Fulham have tabled a bid for Fenerbahce’s left-back Ferdi Kadioglu, who is also a target for fellow Premier League sides Manchester United and Brighton. Kadioglu turned out to be a crucial influence for the Turkish giants last season, helping them reach the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League. He then starred for Turkey at Euro 2024, but all summer long Kadioglu has been linked with a possible move to England. Brighton have seemed to be in pole position for the Turkish defender, despite Manchester United also being mooted as suitors. The Red Devils want a replacement for the injured Luke Shaw and Kadioglu’s name has come up. However, according to Turkish outlet As Marca, Fulham have now entered the race with a bid in the region of €34m, in addition to another €5m in bonuses. Fenerbahce, a club managed by former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, want €40m in addition to another €5m. Brighton are also tipped to make a new bid for the full-back. With the deadline rapidly approaching, Fenerbahce will want the player’s future resolving soon as any funds may be handed to Mourinho to strengthen the squad.
