Gattuso, now in charge of Hajduk Split in Croatia, is known for his fiery temperament and has been embroiled in several heated confrontations both on and off the pitch. The Italy and AC Milan legend addressed the media alongside former West Brom and Nottingham Forest loanee Filip Krovinovic ahead of a Europa Conference League qualifier against Slovakian side Ruzomberok and did not hold back. Krovinovic was asked a question by a journalist but Gattuso, looking to offer cheeky advice on how to handle the media, butted in to make his surprise statement. Handed a two-year deal by Hajduk, Gattuso will look to guide them to their first league title since 2005 after the big-name arrivals of Ivan Rakitic and Ivan Perisic. Hitting the ground running, Gattuso has already steered the club into the Conference League third qualifying round and a victory in their league opener. But, like much of his career, he is once again making headlines for his antics away from the pitch - to the amusement and bemusement of many.
