Dylan Easton's header gave Raith Rovers a second-half advantage Raith Rovers moved level on points with Scottish Championship leaders St Johnstone as Dylan Easton's goal secured a narrow win at Greenock Morton. Easton and Owen Moffat threatened for Raith in the first half and Nathan Shaw's free-kick effort at the other end was saved by Josh Rae. Easton broke the deadlock with a second-half header from Rae's clearance. The visitors finished with 10 men, with Josh Mullin dismissed for a challenge on Michael Garrity on 77 minutes. Grant Gillespie could not get the better of Rae with a header and Morton were frustrated late on as the whistle blew for an infringement after Jackson Longridge had netted. Raith Rovers manager Barry Robson: "The boys were excellent. That's a really difficult game. They looked like a team that knew how to win a game. When you come here, you've got to match them. We did that. It wasn't what we normally look like as a team, but all I'm interested in is making sure that we win football matches. "I thought there were too many yellow cards, he was too eager to get his yellow card out. Just relax. He needs a bit of experience, the referee. Just try and slow down your decision. Just calm down, give yourself a wee bit of time to assess what's actually really happened. He got that [Josh Mullin red card] wrong.
