Jaden Philogene has made 14 Premier League appearances for Aston Villa across two spells Ipswich Town have completed the signing of winger Jaden Philogene from Aston Villa for a fee in the region of £20m. Philogene, 22, has penned a four-and-a-half-year contract at Portman Road. He has made 11 Premier League appearances this season, with his last appearance coming on 7 December. "I'm excited to be here and I know there are great players in the squad, " Philogene said. "I just want to play as much as possible. As a player I like to dribble and link up play and provide goals and assists. I'm looking forward to it. " Philogene came through Aston Villa's academy, making his senior debut in 2021, and had loan spells at Stoke and Cardiff before securing a permanent transfer to Hull in September 2023. The England Under-21s international scored 12 goals in 32 appearances for the Tigers and re-signed for Villa in July. He is Ipswich's 15th signing of the season as manager Kieran Mc Kenna attempts to avoid an immediate return to the Championship. Ipswich sit 17th in the Premier League and are next in action on Thursday when Brighton visit (19: 30 GMT).
