Leeds United have made their opening bid for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen as they follow up on their initial enquiry from last week. Wolves value the Norway international at £40m and Crystal Palace remain in the frame. Leeds want to strengthen their attack and cover at left-back. Manchester United are prepared to return to contract talks for midfielder Kobbie Mainoo following confirmation of Casemiro's departure. Mainoo has been brought back into the fold by interim boss Michael Carrick and plans to move to Napoli on loan have been shelved. A new contract was agreed by Mainoo last year but Ruben Amorim did not sign it off. Mainoo has 18 months remaining on his contract, plus the option of a further year, but is not on parity with other first teamers. Chelsea are finalising agreement with Sheffield Wednesday for left-back Yisa Alao.   The 17-year-old also had an offer from Manchester United but Chelsea have agreed a £600, 000 fee which could rise to £6m with add-ons. Yisa Alao (right) was of interest to Manchester United but is joining Chelsea Nottingham Forest are signing Napoli forward Lorenzo Lucca on loan with an option to make the deal permanent for £34. 8m. The 25-year-old was flying to England last night ahead of his medical. Josh Sargent does not intend to play for Norwich City again. The 25-year-old took exception to a remark made by Norwich City sporting director Ben Knapper which he viewed as disrespectful to his family.   The comment was made in discussions intended to clear the air. Sargent has been banished to training with the U21s and wants to leave for Toronto FC with his young family.   Norwich say if he apologises for refusing to play for the club he can return to the fold but that is deemed unlikely after Knapper's remark. Wrexham have made a rival offer for Crystal Palace target Sidiki Cherif, 19. It's understood the Championship side have proposed £12m with a further £2m in bonuses should they be promoted.  Palace had offered a £2. 6m loan fee and an option to buy worth £13m.   Palace retain interest in Leeds target Jorgen Strand Larsen of Wolves. They also like Genoa's Jeff Ekhator. Sidiki Cherif (right) is of interest to both Crystal Palace and Championship side Wrexham  Harry Wilson's talks with Fulham over a new contract are on hold amid growing Premier League interest. Wilson is free in the summer and wants to have clarity on the future of head coach Marco Silva, who is also out of contract, prior to committing. Aston Villa, Brentford, Everton, Leeds and Crystal Palace are among those monitoring Wilson's situation. Fulham want Manchester City's Oscar Bobb for £30m. Strasbourg's former Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell is among names being considered by Leeds as they look to cover injury to Gabriel Gudmondsson.   Tottenham have confirmed the £13m signing of left-back Souza from Santos. 'I grew up watching the Premier League so this is a childhood dream for me, and I can’t wait to get going, ' he said. Tottenham have confirmed the signing of £13m left-back Souza from Santos  Kristoffer Ajer has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract with Brentford. West Brom are signing Bristol City goalkeeper Max O'Riley on a six month contract. Rangers midfielder Kieran Dowell is set to join Hull City.
