14/08/2024 - 20: 17 BST Jake Davies Leeds United are set to miss out on Liverpool talent Bobby Clark as he is heading for Austria, according to the Times. Whites boss Daniel Farke is in the market for reinforcements before the window closes and the club have held an interest in Clark. The 19-year-old midfielder is highly rated at Liverpool, but the Reds have now made the decision to sell him and he will not be going to Leeds. Liverpool have agreed to sell Clark to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg for a fee of £10m. The Reds have also inserted a sell-on clause worth 17. 5 per cent in the deal. Red Bull Salzburg are managed by former Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders, who rates Clark and has seen him at close quarters. The England Under-20 international spent time in the youth ranks at Birmingham City and Newcastle United before joining Liverpool. He won the EFL Cup, Jurgen Klopp’s last trophy at Liverpool, last season.
