However - owing to a buy back clause inserted in the deal that took him to Vallecas for less than £500, 000 - former club Villarreal can secure his return for just £6m plus 50 per cent of the transfer rights and sell to the highest bidder.   'We are very happy with Andrei here, ' Rayo sporting director David Cobeno told DAZN. 'The motto is always the same: whoever wants him has to pay his release clause. 'We're very confident about the future. Time will tell whether he stays with us or whether someone else pays his release clause. Pep Guardiola has had to field a host of players out of position this term.
