The Portugal and Real Madrid legend is set to be joined by footballing royalty in the shape of Andrea Pirlo, Robert Pires, and Juan Sebastian Veron in Ibiza this summer. Figo and the rest will face off in three sports – football, Padel and golf – over a four-day festival on the white isle. Other names in the frame for Legends Ibiza include former Chelsea pair Joe Cole and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, along with screen stars Mark Strong and Jason Isaacs. Figo will captain one team at a four-day event, which will raise money for charities including Cruz Roja, the Spanish Red Cross. There will also be a series of VIP events with officials promising ‘the party to end all parties’. The festival will be streamed worldwide, with fans able to buy a variety of passes including one which allows entry into the golf competition.
