FT: Mallorca 0-3 Barcelona We only got to see about 25 minutes of Marcus Rashford, who replaced Ferran Torres and took up the central role in Barcelona's front three. He looked a little off the pace, but that's to be expected when adapting to new team-mates and systems. He'll be hoping to start against Levante next weekend. FT: Mallorca 0-3 Barcelona With parts of that second half resembling a training session, there isn't an aful lot we can take from that result. Lamine Yamal and Raphinha were dangerous from wide positions, while Frenkie de Jong and Pedri ran the show from midfield with minimum effort. To their credit Mallorca never stopped running despite losing two men before half-time, but they offered less and less as the game went on. They escape without an embarrassing defeat, Barcelona claim victory without moving out of third gear. It took Barcelona 60 minutes including stoppage time to score past the nine men, Yamal hammering in their third goal with almost the last kick. Rashford came on in the 69th minute for his Barcelona debut, becoming the first English player to feature for the first team in a competitive game since Gary Lineker in 1989. The 27-year-old, on a season-long loan from Manchester United, played as a centre-forward but did not have any chances to score. Rashford and fellow summer recruit Garcia had only been registered with La Liga on the morning of the game because of Barcelona's financial issues.
