Nikola Milenkovic gave the visitors a second minute lead with the Serbian defender heading in a corner, before Rasmus Hojlund struck to get Man United back on level terms. Forest stunned Man United after half-time with a Morgan Gibbs-White effort deceiving goalkeeper Andre Onana from distance, before a looping Chris Wood header dropped in to extend their advantage. Captain Bruno Fernandes pulled a goal back for Man United on the hour mark, but the hosts were unable to fashion an equaliser. Mail Sport's Nathan Salt rates the players at Old Trafford.   Manchester United fell to a 3-2 home defeat against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon The Red Devils are 13th in the Premier League after their sixth league defeat of the campaign Man United head coach Ruben Amorim saw his side suffer a second consecutive defeat  Andre Onana - 4  Has been United’s best player so far this season but looked like the Onana of last season here when he made a terrible mistake for Morgan Gibbs-White’s goal. The ball was fired straight at him and inexplicably went in. Lisandro Martinez - 5 Got bullied by Milenkovic for the opening goal in what was a total marking mismatch before recovering to find his footing in the game. Poorly misjudged Chris Wood’s header back across goal and let it squeeze past him when he was marking the post. Matthjis de Ligt - 5 A consistent selection since Ruben Amorim arrived but he found life tough here to organise the defensive unit as the central centre back. Finds himself in a battle with Harry Maguire in that central role moving forward and displays like this don’t help his case. Leny Yoro - 6 Making his home debut here in the pouring rain, this was a challenging ‘welcome to the league’ moment for the teenager. He initially brought a sense of calm to a back three that can look fraught when put under pressure but he soon found himself put through the ringer by an experienced striker in Chris Wood, who got the better of him for the third Forest goal. Andre Onana was wrongfooted as Morgan Gibbs-White restored Nottingham Forest's lead Lisandro Martinez was unable to keep out Chris Wood's header on the line for Forest's third goal Manuel Ugarte's pass led to Man United's first goal and he is becoming a key piece of the puzzle Diogo Dalot - 6 Continued to get in behind the Forest back-line but his decision-making when the cross is on often frustrated a home crowd who felt he dwelled on it too long. Playing out of his position on the left side so concessions need to be made. Kobbie Mainoo - 6 Supremely talented but he’s continuing to find his way after returning to the side after a lay-off through injury. Did grow into the game after a very quiet first half but given his ceiling he and Amorim will know he can and will get a lot better. Manuel Ugarte - 7. 5 His pass was instrumental in United’s equaliser and this was another impressive display while many around him made costly mistakes that put United in trouble. Took a while to warm up in a United shirt but he now looks to be coming to the boil. A key piece of Amorim’s puzzle as he builds this team out. Amad Diallo - 7 Reinstated to the side as one of four changes, the tricky Ivorian is a constant threat from the wing-back role he is continuing to make his own. It was his driving run that got United back into the game when he cut it back for Fernandes to score. Has to be a regular starter from hereon in. Alejandro Garnacho - 6 It was his initial shot that was parried into the path of Rasmus Hojlund, adding another assist to his season total. Cut a frustrated figure as the game went on and was the first player hooked by Amorim when United fell 3-1 down. Amad Diallo was a constant threat from wing back and has to be a regular starter from hereon in Bruno Fernandes produced a fabulous curling finish to reduce the deficit in the second half Bruno Fernandes - 7 Could only look to the sky after his misplaced pass to Leny Yoro ended up with Morgan Gibbs-White firing Forest into a 2-1 lead. Made amends with a fabulous curling finish from outside the area to reduce the deficit to 3-2. Even in the difficult moments he’s the ultimate leader that Amorim can rely on to dig in. Rasmus Hojlund - 6. 5 He’s got a penchant for scoring difficult goals but this was one of the easiest Hojlund will score all season when he tapped into an empty net. Remains a raw prospect and that was evidenced by the fact he spurned chances that could have given him a first half hat-trick. Gets into all the right positions but he needs fine-tuning to become the clinical striker United will need to rely on in years to come. Manager: Ruben Amorim - 6 He did say a storm was coming but back to back defeats in a week wouldn’t have been in his forecast. Made four changes to freshen things up but his team looked disjointed in spells and looked increasingly vulnerable at set-pieces. Desperately needs time on the training ground. Man United look vulnerable from set pieces with three conceded from corners in two matches Amorim's looks in need of time on the training field with his side, who looked disjointed in spells Gibbs-White was the star performer for Nottingham Forest in an impressive win at Old Trafford SUBS Marcus Rashford (for Alejandro Garnacho, 59) - 5. 5 Harry Maguire (for Matthjis de Ligt, 65) - 6 Noussair Mazraoui (for Leny Yoro, 66) - 6. 5 Joshua Zirkzee (for Bruno Fernandes, 76) - 5 Mason Mount (for Manuel Ugarte, 76) - 5 Nottingham Forest: Sels 6, Williams 6, Milenkovic 7, Murillo 6. 5, Aina 7, Yates 6. 5, Anderson 7. 5, Jota 6 (Morato 68), Gibbs-White 8. 5 (Dominguez 79), Hudson-Odoi 7, Wood 7. 5 (Elanga 79) Subs:  Miguel, Awoniyi, Toffolo, Ward-Prowse, Sosa, Boly.
