The result means defending champions Inter maintain their one-point lead over Napoli, who missed the chance to move top last weekend after a surprise defeat by 13th-placed Como. Third-placed Atalanta were unable to increase the pressure on the top two, as they were held to a goalless draw by Venezia that leaves them three points back. Inter boss Simone Inzaghi might have to contend with further injury concerns, however, as both Dimarco and Hakan Calhanoglu limped off in the 50th minute.
