Right then. We are done here. The drama. Please stay tuned on the site for more reaction and coverage of Ange Postecoglou's sacking. I shall be back soon for coverage of Fulham vs Arsenal this evening, but, for now, allow me to point you in the direction of Michael Pavitt's coverage of the 3pm kick offs. You can follow along by clicking here or below. Thanks all! It's been a journey! Tom has whipped this up, which is the story behind Ange's sacking and his disaster reign. It's such a good read. It's Daily Mail +, so will require a subscription, but your first month is free and then it's £1. 99 a month after that. Well worth it, in my opinion! Here's a record Ange won't want - but he knew what he was signing up for. 39 days in charge of him, and the shortest reign ever in terms of a manager departing during a season. Overall, it's only bettered - or beaten - but Sam Allardyce's stay at Leeds, which was 40 days but an agreement until the end of the season. Here are the odds to be next Nottingham Forest manager, as per Betfair: Dyche odds on and feels the obvious appointment. Eight games, no wins, a decent payout, 39 days, one disaster. Let's break this down. Evangelos Marinakis has sacked a manager who took Forest into Europe, employed his mate with a completely different philosophy, who, let's be honest, doesn't have the best Premier League record. Also appointing Edu as sporting director, by the way. Said manager destroys all the work that had been done in record time, ruins the club's season already, and is let go again after eight games. The search for the next manager commences. Just mental to me. Glenn Hoddle, former England manager, TNT Sports: He's gone. 19 minutes after full time. Wow. Reece James, Chelsea captain, TNT Sports: Glenn Hoddle, former England manager, TNT Sports: There are handshakes for Postecoglou, but I fear it is going to be short and not so sweet in terms of the Aussie's reign. Forest stay 17th and could end the weekend bottom. Chelsea move up to fourth. Postecoglou is the first Forest boss not to have won any of his first eight games in charge. This is Reece James' 200th appearance for boyhood club Chelsea. What a way to mark it. Forest win a free kick from a handball and can cross. It's headed wide by Milenkovic, but he is offside anyway. Chelsea fans are loving the Posecoglou downfall. He managed Spurs, remember. There goes the full time whistle and the boos from those who are left are as loud as you'd expect. I would be stunned if Postecoglou is in charge on Thursday. Estevao is booked for kicking the ball away. The away end is still in party mode despite their 10 men. TNT are showing shots of the fans walking down the round outside the stadium along the River Trent. It is so, so bleak. Five minutes added on. More chants of sacked in the morning, and they are coming from all corners of the ground this time. Oh, Chelsea are down to 10. Malo Gusto is sent off, because Chelsea apparently have to do that every game now. Their fourth of the season and it's a mental challenge from the Frenchman. That's something that is getting pretty out of hand. Estevao's effort is deflected wide. And the corner falls to Reece James who blasts it in! Game, set, match. Sels flaps the corner straight to James, and his effort on the volley goes through everyone and hits the back of the net. Forest's set piece issues continue. The ground is emptying. You really do feel this is the end for Postecoglou. James has come on with a note, and it's being passed round the whole team. Morgan Gibbs-White tries to have a cheeky look. I think Caicedo has now put it in his sock. Oh, no, it's just on the floor. Oh, nope, James has picked it up and put it in his sock now. What a saga. Chelsea will probably try and see this out smartly now. Forest have had their chances and not taken them. Acheampong makes way for Tosin. Last season's top scorer is on in Chris Wood, fresh from international duty with New Zealand. Savona is also on for Murillo. Sigh. Forest really have done everything but score. Anderson is fed on the left and tries to pick out Wood but it's blocked and Sangare skies it. Estevao is about to come on. He replaces Neto, note in hand. OH MY WORD! WHAT HAVE I JUST SEEN? ! Guiu blazes it over the bar, but, up the other end, Jesus is on the bend of a cross and he's fit the bar, then the post, then it's bounced on the line. You genuinely cannot get closer. When your luck is out. .. A big double save from Sanchez! The first from Milekovic, as he gets low to claw away the header. The second is from Sangare from close range. The second corner goes out before it comes back in. A really tense atmosphere around the City Ground. A decision to make, maybe? It's Pedro in this time and he tries to give Sels the eyes but drags the effort wide. A good chance for Forest too up the other end as the ball is pulled back for Williams in the box but Gittens gets back so well to take it off his feet. Oh dear. The Welshman is then presented with an even better opportunity as Zinchenko picks him out but he skies it. Loud chants of sacked in the morning come in and it's anyone's guess where from. Gusto is booked for a late tackle on Milenkovic. Better now from Forest but Gibbs-White picks out Reece James. The crowd are growing frustrated. A roar as Forest win a corner but Chelsea counter. Zinchenko has to cut out a pass aimed at Pedro, who was in. Forest have conceded first in the game for the eighth time in 10 matches this season, saving just one point from losing positions. Credit to TNT for that one. 20 matches since a clean sheet, too. A complete contrast to that Nuno side. Postecoglou looks stunned. Chelsea also have a free kick in a great position now and Reece James will take - nope Neto does. .. AND IT'S TWO! OH MY! James takes the free kick short to Neto and he shoots first time. It's really poor goalkeeping to be fair, with Sels parrying it into his own goal. Loud, loud boos from the crowd. Ange swaps Luiz for Hudson-Odoi. Chelsea start with the ball then, and Sels gathers the header from Acheampong after a long-worked free kick. Another set piece follows. It's awful and Gibbs-White heads away. OH THERE WE GO! CHELSEA LEAD! The ball is recycled and Neto does so well on the left, beating Williams and putting in an absolute beauty of a cross. The young defender is on his own in the box, and heads home for his first ever senior goal! Good limbs in the away end too! Annnnnd here come to changes. Caicedo, Gittens and Guiu are on. Let's see who has gone off. .. it's Santos, Lavia and Garnacho. Jesus is also on for Awoniyi for Forest. Peter Crouch, former Liverpool manager, TNT Sports: The half time reaction inside the City Ground is split, with some booing, some cheering. But they should be encouraged by what they have seen, with the hosts the better side. Chelsea have made much of their own problems here, but Forest have pounced without producing the finishing product. I do think the Blues need changes. As Kieran says, the likes of Caicedo and Estevao could make a real difference. Chelsea just have not really been in it. Frustration inside the ground as Cucurella only receives a talking to rather than a yellow card for a foul. Maresca looks to have swapped seats. Not sure why. Good from Neto as he goes close with an effort from distance, but it's over the bar. And there's the whistle. Chelsea's best chance now as Neto clips a ball into Pedro. He heads it down to Santos, but his effort is blazed over. Morato picks up the first yellow card of the game as he trips Joao Pedro, who is in a bit of pain but fine to carry on. Nearly half-time now, and it's been a decent game. OH! Andrey Santos should score. Pedro flicks it through and it's dragged wide. Enzo Maresca has his head in his hands in the stands. Forest's latest attack is cut out by Reece James but a stern tackle from Morato this time wins it back. Chelsea are so light on numbers here and they have created nothing. It's missing an Estevao, I reckon. A clip from Neto runs out of play. Reece James goes for goal from a deep free kick but it bounces about 18 times and Sels gathers easily. Forest's press is equally impressive as Chelsea's play has been poor here. The hosts have been by far the better side. Anderson bodies Garnacho and that sums things up so far. Williams drags it back and Acheampong has to clear this time. Chelsea trying to play out is painful here. They are getting caught out time after time. Really good from a set piece this time, with a free kick from deep going all the way through. The final piece of play isn't quite there, however, and it's cleared. But a goal is coming. Good now from Forest, but a ball forward from Murillo is too heavy for Zinchenko. Ohhhh the best chance of the game! Chelsea lose the ball trying to play out again with Lavia's touch too heavy. The midfielder pounces and tries to place it in the top corner but it's wide. Seconds later he just about can't reach a ball headed over by Luiz. Forest are pushing here! IAN LADYMAN: This game is becoming quite physical, and a long ball to Pedro is brought down without him doing too much. The likes of Luiz and Williams have already gone in with hard challenges, though. Forest do look like an Ange team here. They are pressing hard and high. But Chelsea are comfortable enough. A big roar as Gibbs-White wins the ball in midfield but his ball through to Awoniyi is poor. Zinchenko then loses the ball in his own half but Forest recover well. Chelsea dominating, however, and Williams dispossesses Garnacho. Ohhhh, Anderson should do better! Gibbs-White feeds his England team-mate in the box and he has so much time. He tries to cut inside, but stands on the ball and loses it! Big save from Sels! Looked like Chelsea were in there. Neto weaves his way into the area and Gusto drags it back and the eventual is blocked. In fact, it's not even saved by Sels. Decent, last-ditch defending, but not really what you want. Chelsea on top early. Joao Pedro wins a free kick. The first shot of the game comes from Forest, with Awoniyi gifted the ball from a sloppy pass but he drags his shot wide. His name is being sung loud by the Forest fans, however. Chelsea are now settling on the ball, however. They will try and keep it. Here we go then! Enzo Maresca is of course suspended today, so Willy Caballero will deliver the instructions from the dugout. They've just shown him on the tele and he's sat behind a very vocal Forest fan. Looks hilarious. A fine reception for Ange, with boos for the Premier League anthem. Harry Redknapp, former Premier League manager, speaking to football betting site Bet Victor: The teams are on their ways out at the City Ground! Kick off is a matter of moments away. Interesting. .. As assumed, the players have been out getting warm pretty early on - jumpers and all. The atmosphere is a bit tense around the City Ground, with fans knowing what it at stake today. One was walking to TNT Sports a little earlier and said they didn't want the break because you spend two weeks stewing on the last defeat. I think if anything was going to help them, it will be that. We'll see. As mentioned before, I think that photo after the Newcastle game was really striking - the one where Ange is walking off on his own and all his players are sort of walking behind him. I wonder what the feeling is like in the dressing room. Elliot Anderson has just been on TNT speaking about how he is backing him to turn things around, but I'm with Tom - lose here and this could be his last game. A bizarre appointment from the off, I feel. A very picturesque backdrop for Chelsea as they arrive at the City ground for this afternoon's game. They are wrapped up alright. It's about 12 degree Celsius in Nottingham, so I'm sure the players will want to get out and get warm soon! Emmanuel Petit, former Chelsea midfielder, speaking to Boyle Sports: By Lewis Browning Our friends at Squawka have also given us a stats pack ahead of today. In terms of chances created, the numbers aren't too different. But the difference in goals is telling, as well as the x G and goals conceded numbers. Estevao, the hero against Liverpool, is the player in focus. Here's what our friends at Sky Bet are saying in terms of the odds to win today's game: No one odds on, then! The Premier League is back with a bang today, with SEVEN matches taking place today between 12: 30pm and around 7: 30pm tonight. Here's a rundown of all the games, all kicking off at 3pm unless otherwise stated: Cannot wait. Enzo Maresca, Chelsea manager: Ange Postecoglou, Nottingham Forest manager: A big blow for Chelsea was confirmed yesterday, with star man Cole Palmer set to be out of action for six more weeks with a groin issue. The attacking midfielder last played on September 20 in the defeat by Manchester United, when he was substituted early with the injury. And it will be a while yet, with Maresca confirming it will be a while yet. Read more from my colleague by clicking here or below. And here's the Blues team! Joao Pedro does indeed start having missed Brazil duty with an injury, but Enzo Fernandez doesn't make it after he left the Argentina camp early. Josh Acheampong gets the nod in central defence, with Romeo Lavia also included. Andrey Santos looks like he will be playing in the No 10 role. Here's the team Ange Postecoglou has put out today. Looks to me that Oleksandr Zinchenko may be lining up in midfield. But it's quite a defensive team, with three centre backs named as well as Zinchenko, Anderson and Douglas Luiz named. Taiwo Awoniyi leads the line. Here's the top and bottom half of the Premier League table as it stands - the whole league can be viewed any time on the Premier League section of the Daily Mail website. Chelsea could rise up to third with a convincing win here, ahead of the other sides playing this weekend. Forest could end the weekend in the bottom three - bottom, even - but could also, realistically, go 14th. Last time out was an important game for Chelsea, who were slipping down the Premier League table and had just lost against Brighton. It was a tough task against Liverpool, but they got the job done in seriously dramatic fashion. It was Estevao who popped up with a 90 minute winner, causing Maresca to sprint down the touchline - and get sent off - in celebration. I'm sure they would take more of the same today, but with perhaps a bit less stress. It's been a disastrous reign for Ange Postecoglou since he took over from Nuno earlier this season. Forest are 17th in the Premier League table and yet to win a game under the Australian. They are in freefall, picking up one point from their last five games, and were beaten comfortably by Newcastle last time out. There are already murmurs that he could be on his way, and defeat here could well be the final straw. That image of his players all walking past him after the Newcastle defeat was striking, by the way. Gooood morning one and all and welcome to Mail Sport's live blog for Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea in the Premier League. The Premier League is back! After what has felt like the longest international break of all time, we are back with top flight action and it's a corker to get us underway at the City Ground. Under-pressure Ange Postecoglou could be on his last thread today as he goes head to head with Club World Cup winning boss Enzo Maresca, with kick off set for 12: 30. We'll have all the build up, latest news and reaction right here, so strap in and enjoy the ride! to take the knee these days is a disgrace all it d. ..
