Having been unbeaten in four consecutive away league games against Fulham between 1999 and 2015 (W2 D2), Ipswich have lost their last two at Craven Cottage, most recently a 4-1 defeat in their first league game of 2018. Ipswich have only won their first league game in one of the last 16 calendar years (D8 L7), winning 4-0 at Gillingham in League One in 2022. Fulham are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games (W2 D5), last enjoying a longer unbeaten run in November and December 2008 (9), which ended with a defeat in their opening league match of the year (1-3 vs. West Ham in 2009). Ipswich Town have won two of their last four Premier League matches (L2), as many as they’d won in their previous 28 combined (D9 L17). The last time the Tractor Boys won consecutive top-flight games in January/February 2002, it included a win over Fulham. Fulham have picked up 29 points after 19 Premier League games this season (W7 D8 L4), their second-most at the halfway stage of a campaign behind only 2022-23 (31). Indeed, it’s more than they won in total in two of their last four full seasons in the competition (26 in 2018-19, 28 in 2020-21). Ipswich Town have lost 15 of their last 20 away Premier League games in London (W3 D2) though they did beat Spurs 2-1 in November. The Tractor Boys last won two away games in the capital in a season in the inaugural campaign of 1992-93, beating Wimbledon and Spurs. Ipswich’s Liam Delap has seven Premier League goals this season, the most by a player for any of the three newly promoted clubs this campaign. He also two assists and a goal or assist would see him reach double figures for goal involvements in 19 games, with only Marcus Stewart (15 games) and Marcus Bent (19) reaching that in fewer than 20 games for the Tractor Boys. Antonee Robinson assisted 10 Premier League goals for Fulham in 2024, the joint most by a Cottagers player in a single year, along with Luís Boa Morte in 2005. Robinson in 2024 is one of only two players in Premier League history with 10+ assists in a year without scoring a goal, along with Kieran Trippier in 2023 (0 goals, 10 assists). Harry Wilson has five goals in his last 10 Premier League games for Fulham, more than in his previous 47 games combined (4). All five goals have come in the second half, with 80% of them either giving Fulham the lead (2) or equalising (2). © 2025 BBC. The BBC is not responsible for the content of external sites.
