FT: Queens Park Rangers 4-0 Derby County Ilias Chair turns and fires in curling effort from edge of box to put Rs ahead while Koki Saito doubles lead after 35 minutes Chair adds to his tally after the break by smashing home from close range just before the hour mark while Ronnie Edwards heads in a fourth for the hosts Derby are well beaten in John Eustace's first game in charge of the Rams QPR move up two places to 11th and three points off play-offs courtesy of win Derby, now winless in 11 games in all competitions, drop into Championship relegation places on goal difference after heavy defeat Kate Holloway FT: QPR 4-0 Derby Steve Brown Ex-Premier League defender on BBC Radio London I think the first goal settled the nerves a little bit. After the second one they started to feel comfortable. Illias Chair obviously stood out but some really good performances all round. It is not very often as a manager you get to relax, but Martí Cifuentes had that ability tonight. QPR 4-0 Derby Ilias Chair and his QPR teammates put in dazzling showcase to provide John Eustace a thrashing in his first game as Derby boss. Two goals either side of the halves, each in spectacular fashion, makes a mockery of a poor Rams performance to echo in their era under Eustace. A promotion contender from Rangers? Absolutely. A relegation bound showing from Derby? Ab-so-lutely. QPR 4-0 Derby Ed Dawes BBC Radio Derby commentator While it can get worse for Eustace in terms of the scoreline, it can't get worse when it comes to the soft underbelly that Derby have shown tonight. This is the first proper beating of the season, the first time that they have looked well beaten. Although they say Rome wasn't built in a day. QPR 4-0 Derby Four minutes added to the clock. They can't finish soon enough for the away side as QPR prepare a free kick outside of the penalty area. QPR 4-0 Derby Ouch. Jerry Yates runs on the end of a nice cross into the box and pokes it into the net. Yates has not long picked it up and is running back to the half way line to go again before the whistle is blown and he spots at the raised flag. He's offside and Derby's important consolation goal is stripped away from them. QPR 4-0 Derby Ebou Adams is withdrew for Derby as Harrison Armstrong replaces him to see out the game. QPR 4-0 Derby A free kick from just past the half-way line is sent into the box for the visitors and through all of QPR's brilliant strength at the back this evening, they can't quite clear away this one. A pass is cut towards a lone Jerry Yates but the Rams scoring machine gets it wrong and he scuffs the shot wide. He's massively frustrated. This isn't just about losing, the goal difference is hurting them too. QPR 4-0 Derby Steve Brown Ex-Premier League defender on BBC Radio London The game has gone a little bit flat, but that is because they both now the job is done. QPR 4-0 Derby The good news for Derby? Things have calmed down a little from QPR. The bad news? The Rams aren't playing any better. QPR 4-0 Derby Chris Peddy BBC Sport at Loftus Road Well this wasn't in the script for John Eustace in his return to the club where he ended his playing career. His side have been totally ripped apart in west London and it looks like they're heading for the relegation zone after their goal difference has taken a battering. At various times we've heard ironic chants of "sacked in the morning", and though there's zero chance of that happening, the former Blackburn boss is getting a sign of the size of the task he has at Pride Park. QPR on the other hand have been clinical. There'll be no hat-trick for Ilias Chair today but it's been a welcome return to form for one of their star players. QPR 4-0 Derby Darren Robinson Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby It isn't even about asking for quality, it's the basics that they've got wrong. Chair's finish for the first goal was good but it is all avoidable for the Rams. QPR 4-0 Derby Off goes Ilias Chair. He makes way for Nicolas Madsen to eruptious appreciation from the home crowd. He's certainly feeling the love this Valentine's Day. Michael Frey also departs for Alfie Lloyd. QPR 4-0 Derby Disastrous indeed. There's chants of 'sacked in the morning' to a head coach who has been in the job less than 48 hours. But it's no wonder boss John Eustace is being taunted. QPR goal scorer Ilias Chair is alone at the back post but Michael Frey's cross is overhit and goes flying above the crossbar. Chair looks gutted he's not got his hat-trick but Derby should be devastated they've been so thoroughly out played. QPR 4-0 Derby Aaron Paul BBC Radio 5 Live reporter at Loftus Road This is a disastrous start for John Eustace as Derby boss. QPR 4-0 Derby Steve Brown Ex-Premier League defender on BBC Radio London The run from Ronnie Edwards, that is how you attack a set-piece. It is all about the delivery for me, Kenneth Paal, you won't see a better ball in than that. Ronnie Edwards (65 mins) The simplest of goals but incredibly effective. Kenneth Paal's free kick is as sharp as they come and the pace is met with a forceful header from defender Ronnie Edwards to see QPR with a fourth. An awful night for the away side but the home side look exactly like the promotion contenders they are aiming to be. QPR 3-0 Derby If anyone is going to create something for Derby County, it looks like it will be their captain. In the meantime though, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has defensive duties to do and puts in a cynical foul to concede a dangerous free kick. QPR 3-0 Derby Ed Dawes BBC Radio Derby commentator The sad thing is Derby don't even have a chance of getting back into this one, they don't look like scoring. They have had chances but just haven't had the quality to put them away. QPR 3-0 Derby That's Yang Min-hyeok's night done as QPR make their first set of changes. He goes off to warm applause alongside Sam Field as Paul Smyth and Kieran Morgan join the fray. QPR 3-0 Derby Steve Brown Ex-Premier League defender on BBC Radio London That is game over for me and will stop any momentum that Derby have gained over the last few minutes. The strike is absolutely outstanding, it had power and accuracy. Ilias Chair scored his first two goals of the season as QPR beat Derby County 4-0 at Loftus Road Derby County were emphatically beaten at QPR in John Eustace's first game as boss since returning to the club. The Rams dropped into the Championship relegation zone as their goal difference took a battering at Loftus Road. A rocket from Ilias Chair followed by Koki Saito's second goal of the season put the Rs in control at half-time. Chair added his second from close range before defender Ronnie Edwards headed in his first goal since joining the club from Southampton on loan last month. Jerry Yates had a late consolation disallowed after he had just strayed offside as the hosts secured a commanding win for Marti Cifuentes' side after two consecutive defeats. More to follow.
