The 20-year-old was handed his third La Liga start of the season by Flick and Roony repaid the faith shown in him by scoring his first league goal and Barcelona's third of the game. Roony, born in Kuwait, has been capped three times by Sweden after moving to the country aged six. A talented teenager, Roony made his competitive debut for Copenhagen aged 16 years and six days to become the youngest player to feature for the club - and scored his first goal six days later. In 2023, Roony scored his first Champions League goal when he netted an 87th-minute winner in Copenhagen's 4-3 victory over Manchester United. And then Barcelona came calling. In July 2025, Roony signed a four-year deal with the Catalan club and made his debut for Sweden three months later.
