Antony enjoyed a productive loan spell at Betis in the second half of last season. The winger has been frozen out at United under Ruben Amorim and is part of the club's 'bomb squad' along with Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia. Antony proved hugely popular with the Betis fans and made 26 appearances, while he scored nine goals and provided five assists. He also featured in the Conference League final defeat to Chelsea. In 2022 Antony joined United from Ajax for a fee of £82million plus £4. 27million in add-ons.
