The winger has struggled to find form in west London, starting 19 games for the Blues and completing 90 minutes just eight times. Sancho, who has scored two goals for Chelsea so far this campaign, last played for England in September 2021. Last week, it was revealed that Chelsea will have to pay Manchester United £5million in compensation if they decide not to make Jadon Sancho's loan move permanent this summer, according to a report from The Athletic. Sancho’s move to Stamford Bridge included an obligation for Chelsea to buy him at the end of the season if they finish 14th or higher in the Premier League. The fee will be between £22-25million, depending on the Blues final position in the table. Enzo Maresca’s side are currently in fourth, 15 points ahead of Tottenham in 14th. However, as Mail Sport reported earlier this month, there is still a possibility that Sancho could end up back at Old Trafford this summer if Chelsea decide not to go through with the deal.
