According to the Italian media, via Football Italia, United have agreed to sell the outcast forward for €23million (£19. 8m), but Sancho has not yet accepted personal terms as he would need to take a substantial pay cut. As first reported by Daily Mail Sport, Roma are the latest to discuss a potential loan and option to buy for the 25-year-old - but United only want a permanent sale. Sancho has been ostracised at United and is not part of Ruben Amorim's plans. However, given Sancho's salary of £250, 000-a-week, United would prefer to shift him off the books for good for a fee of between £20m and £25m. The big stumbling block appears to be his wage packet, worth around £13m-a-year. Roma are not able to extend to that figure and have therefore reportedly suggested Sancho sign a five-year deal in order to spread out his salary. Jadon Sancho's wage demands are reportedly holding up a move away from Man United Sancho is not in Ruben Amorim's plans and United want to offload him permanently The ostracised forward currently earns £250, 000-a-week, totalling £13million a year It remains to be seen whether the winger accepts the proposal or holds out for an improved offer elsewhere, in the knowledge he has interest from other clubs. Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, with whom he won the Conference League, but the club decided to pay a £5m fee to avoid turning the deal permanent. Reports in recent weeks have also linked Sancho with a third stint at Borussia Dortmund, suggesting he is prepared to cut his wages in half to facilitate a return. However, according to Sky Sports Germany, there are questions within the Dortmund camp surrounding re-signing Sancho - particularly given how both Chelsea and United have not chosen to feature him in their plans. The club are also said to be anxious regarding potential criticism of them going back to the well one too many times in bringing back the ace. Sancho signed for United from Dortmund in 2021 for £73m. He has one year remaining on his deal, although United have the option to extend it by a further year. During his time at Old Trafford, Sancho has made 83 appearances, while he has scored 12 goals and provided six assists.
