United, like their opponents, are battling an injury crisis during what has proven to be a hectic period in the season. Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans,  Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Toby Collyer and Amad Diallo are all currently ruled out of action. Amorim has therefore moved to bolster his squad by calling up as many as seven teenagers from the United academy. Midfielders Sekou Kone and Jack Moorhouse, both 19, have travelled to London alongside goalkeeper Elyh Harrison, 18, left back Harry Amass, 17, and striker Chido Obi, 17. Midfielder Jack Fletcher, 17, and defender Tyler Fredricson, 19, have also travelled. It is believed that some of them will feature on the bench at Tottenham, while others have been taken in reserve in case more injuries strike before the game kicks off. Harry Amass (right) played for Man United against Tottenham in a U21 game earlier this month but he could now be in line to feature in Sunday's first-team fixture between the clubs United boss Ruben Amorim has promoted as many as seven teenagers due to an injury crisis 19-year-old midfielder Sekou Kone, pictured in action for United's Under 21s, could also play None of the seven teenagers have ever played a first-team game for United before. Kone joined United in August when he signed from Guidars FC in his native Mali. He has previously represented his country at the FIFA U17 World Cup and the U17 Africa Cup of Nations - both in 2023. Moorhouse was born in Manchester but is eligible to play for Ireland, as well as England, at international level. He has scored three goals in seven games in the Premier League 2 this season. Harrison, who was signed from League One side Stevenage in 2022, gained some first-team experience during a loan spell at Chester last year. He was also an unused substitute when United lost 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace earlier this month. Amass joined United from Watford in 2023. He never played a first-team game for the Hornets but featured on their bench aged just 15. He was also an unused sub for United last season during a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in April.   Meanwhile, Obi caught the attention of the media multiple times while playing youth football for former club Arsenal. He famously scored 10 goals for the Gunners' U16 side in a 14-3 win over Liverpool in November 2023. He then hit seven goals in April last year during a 9-0 win over Norwich at U18 level. United pulled off a huge coup by signing Obi in September and he scored a hat-trick on his first start for his new club's U18 team in a 6-0 win over Nottingham Forest. He hit another hat-trick last week in a 5-1 win over Chelsea. Chido Obi scored three goals for United's Under 18 side last week in a win over Chelsea This was not Obi's first United hat-trick, while he once scored 10 in a game for Arsenal Defender Lisandro Martinez is one of eight United players currently sidelined with injuries There will likely be plenty of youngsters in the Spurs side too. Ange Postecoglou's 20-man squad for last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa featured no fewer than six teenagers, including four in the starting lineup. United travelled to London via coach on Saturday after the train they planned to catch was cancelled due to signalling issues. Amorim's men intend to return to Manchester by plane shortly after the final whistle. United go into Sunday's game in 14th place, two points ahead of Spurs. A win for either side will take them up to 12th.   Published by Associated Newspapers Ltd Part of the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday & Metro Media Group
