Rotherham's weaving teamwork set up Hall to rifle in an opener, while Bobby Pointon found the net at the other end following chaos in the box. The goal was not stand though, disallowed due to an offside call. Bradford will begin to wonder if the luck of the green just isn't with them after Jamal Baptiste's scrappy tackle on a surging Alex Pattison saw just a yellow rather than a red but they are still firmly in this game. The Millers held a two-goal advantage but League One leaders Bradford staged a late comeback to earn a point. Good chances fell to both sides early on. First Denzel Hall should have done better after being found in space. Then Will Swan broke clear twice before dragging wide one-on-one with Cameron Dawson and then being denied by the goalkeeper. Rotherham went in front after 20 minutes with a slick move which was finished off by Hall after neat touches by Josh Benson and Kion Etete lined up the chance from the edge of the box. Rotherham doubled their advantage after 50 minutes when Ar'jany Martha cut through the Bradford defence and played in Reece James who squared for half-time substitute Martin Sherif to tap home. Bradford struck one back after 56 minutes with Antoni Sarcevic turning in Josh Neufville's centre. Pattison then missed a golden chance to strike level as he dragged his effort wide on the angle.
