Adriana Leon scored for Canada in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Mexico San Diego Wave have signed Canada international Adriana Leon from Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee. The 32-year-old scored nine goals in 37 appearances for Villa after joining from Manchester United in 2023. Leon was not involved in Villa's past two matches, against Brighton in the Women's FA Cup fifth round and Leicester City in the Women's Super League. She joins former Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall at National Women's Soccer League club San Diego Wave, as well as France's ex-Villa midfielder Kenza Dali, who moved there in January.
