The forward, 27, had been travelling to Stansted Airport after training on Tuesday ahead of his side's Champions League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt, and escaped unhurt. But they will land later. 'It definitely does not help any of us, ' said the Spurs boss. 'Of course, we prefer to have the best players out there on the pitch. 'Any coach and teammate wants that, but we also have a squad and need other players to step up as they've done and perform. Spurs are already guaranteed to qualify for the knock out rounds but know victory in Frankfurt will clinch a top eight finish and a bye into the last 16 of the competition.
