There is plenty of football action to look forward to on Monday with a double helping from Serie A and one game from La Liga following on from a full non-league slate in England. We have a trio of selections, which make up our best bets of the day for Monday. GET £30 IN FREE BETS WITH TALKSPORT BET Juventus to win and Under 2. 5 Goals @ 5/2 Both Juventus and Verona started their Serie A campaign with 3-0 wins last weekend. Juve dispatched newly-promoted Como, while Verona put Napoli to the sword despite having just 32 percent possession. Last season, Verona averaged just one goal per game, while Juventus were the lowest-scorers in Italy's top four last season with just 54 to their name. However, the Old Lady were exceptional at the back, with only champions Inter conceding fewer goals. New boss Thiago Motta is charged with making Juve a more creative side this season but, especially away from home, they are still likely to be solid rather than spectacular. The Bianconeri can probably expect to edge this contest, but it looks very unlikely to be a goal-fest. Roberto Piccoli to score first @ 13/2 Cesc Fabregas and his promoted Como side were put in their place by Juventus last weekend, while Cagliari opened up their Serie A season in goalless draw with Roma. The sides meet at the Unipol Domus on Monday evening and the hosts will be all too aware of the need to win games like this at home to rivals who will be joining them in a likely fight for survival. Cagliari boss Davide Nicola, dubbed the survival specialist during his managerial career, is just the man for the job to steer the club away from danger. He brought in striker Roberto Piccoli on loan from Atalanta this summer. The 23-year-old found the net five times in Serie A last season for Lecce – the joint-second lowest scorers in the Italian top tier last time. Piccolo essentially marked his competitive debut with a brace in the Coppa Italia win over Carrarese this month, albeit the second – a sumptuous header - glanced off teammate Leonardo Pavololetti en route to goal and is on the dubious goals list. Piccolo was unable to add to that in the stalemate with Roma, despite playing 86 minutes, but this game should present more chances and he's a decent bet to open the scoring for Gli Isolani. Iago Aspas 2+ Shots on Target, Both Teams To Score & Over 2. 5 Goals @ 16/5 Our Special of the Day comes from the La Liga clash between Villarreal and Celta Vigo, two sides that have made excellent starts. Celta Vigo have defeated Alaves and Valencia to make the perfect start, while hosts Villarreal followed a 2-2 draw with Atletico Madrid by defeating Sevilla. All four games involving these teams so far have produced at least three goals and that trend can continue here. Veteran forward Iago Aspas has played all bar three minutes for Celta so far and has found the net in both their opening wins. He should be key again and, in an open game, is worth adding to this Bet Builder to have at least two shots on target.
