Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho revealed his one major 'problem' with Victor Osimhen amid claims the two share a 'very good relationship'. Mourinho and Osimhen find themselves on opposite sides in one of Europe's most heated rivalries. The two-time Champions League winning coach is in charge of Fenerbahce while Osimhen completed a loan move to Galatasaray on September 4. Galatasaray's signing of Osimhen was a major coup given he scored 55 Serie A goals for Napoli in the last three seasons, with his haul of 26 in the 2022-23 campaign firing the club to a Scudetto. However, Osimhen had fallen foul of new Napoli boss Antonio Conte and even lost his No. 9 shirt to summer recruit Romelu Lukaku. Premier League giants Chelsea and Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli both came close to signing Osimhen late in the summer window but a move failed to materialise. Instead, Osimhen will ply his trade with 24-time Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray. It will be up to Mourinho to draw up a plan that will stop Osimhen when the heated rivals face off on September 21. However, there is one part of the Nigerian marksman's game that Mourinho can do nothing about and it is something the Portuguese boss has a major gripe with. "I don't have problems with Victor, " Mourinho told HT Spor. "In fact, we have a very good relationship. But every time I play against him, I speak with him because I don't like the way he behaves. He dives too much. " Mourinho spoke of how he even pulled the 25-year-old aside after Napoli played Roma last season to tell him he needed to stay on his feet. "I told him, 'Look, you are one of the two best African players, you and (Mohamed) Salah, " Mourinho said. "In the past, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto'o, George Weah. You cannot behave like this. He dives too much. That's my problem with him. "But after 10 minutes, we are fine. We have a very good relationship and for the Turkish league it's fantastic and for Galatasaray it's fantastic too. " Osimhen could make his Galatasaray debut on Saturday when they take on Rizespor as they look to maintain their perfect start to the season. Although the 25-year-old did not feature for Napoli prior to his exit, he did log some valuable minutes on international duty for Nigeria. Osimhen provided an assist during an 18-minute cameo for Nigeria's 3-0 win over Benin and played one half in a 0-0 draw against Rwanda. As for Mourinho's Fenerbahce, they sit in first with 10 points from four games and face Kasimpasa on Sunday.
