The rumour mill went into overdrive after footage emerged of the pair appearing to clash at the AXA Training Centre. Harvey Elliott and Ibrahima Konate pulled them apart, with Salah laughing throughout the incident while Alexander-Arnold looked more irritated.     In a clip posted online by sports agency Hayters TV, Alexander-Arnold can be seen clapping his hands while gesturing towards Salah, who appears to react to his comments.   The Egyptian winger advanced towards him and giving him a gentle push, to which he reacts by moving back in Salah's direction. Elliott can then be seen holding Salah back while Ibrahima Konate puts an arm around the England full-back to move him away.   The 'truth' behind Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold's clash has been revealed  The pair appeared to clash in a session ahead of their crunch Champions League tie against PSG Salah appeared to react to a gesture and comment from Alexander-Arnold Trent appeared far from happy with Salah as the pair came together in Liverpool training ? ? pic. twitter. com/r81rf JR9c L However, the Liverpool Echo has now reported that it was all 'light-hearted ribbing' between the pair, having spoken to sources at the club.   The local outlet reports that the team-mates were seen joking with each other after training.    All this comes with the Reds looking to advance to the Champions League quarter-finals, as they seek to keep hold of their 1-0 advantage against PSG.   Tuesday's return leg at Anfield follows a dominant performance by Luis Enrique's side in Paris but that ended up being one in which they had nothing to show for it.   Despite having 27 shots on goal during the first leg, PSG failed to find the back of the net thanks to an inspired performance from Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.   PSG were then punished further when Harvey Elliott netted just three minutes from time with what could prove to be a crucial strike. While his side do have the upper hand in the contest at the halfway point, that comes as scant consolation to Arne Slot.   The Dutchman revealed he is having sleepless nights ahead of the second leg and insists Liverpool must put in their performance of the season to progress in Tuesday night's Champions League last-16 second leg.   Arne Slot knows the job is only half done as his side prepare to host the French champions It is ahead of a season-defining week for Liverpool, in which they also play the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle on Sunday. Slot said: ‘In a week like this I do not dream at all. I just know I have to work really, really, really hard to prepare the team in the best possible way.   ‘If you have a game like we did last week, you feel like, “Can I even go to sleep at all? Or do I have to watch even more? ” So no, I do not dream at all at the moment about this week. ‘This is the most complete team we have faced so far. What I mean with complete is that, OK we have faced Arsenal and City and they are not big margins but the intensity they play at combined with the quality they have and they are one of the richest clubs. ‘They have so much quality and a great, great, great manager (Luis Enrique). It is not easy to play against his team, he brings the best out of every player and brings an incredible workrate in the team. ’
