Southampton keeper Ramsdale was named in the Euro 2024 party that travelled to Germany, but has missed all three international squads since then — though his omission in November was down to injury. Ramsdale, who has five England caps, has conceded 38 goals in 19 Premier League matches this season. In total, Southampton have shipped 67 goals in their 27 games. Nevertheless, Ramsdale is being monitored by Tuchel and his staff as they look for solutions to a dearth of options in goal. Jordan Pickford appears sure to be selected, while Dean Henderson is a strong candidate to be picked.
