Back of the net! ► Arsenal target Ollie Watkins has already revealed Gunners move is his 'dream' ► How to watch Premier League live streams from anywhere in the world in 2024/25 Canada: Fubo Australia: Optus Sport New Zealand: Sky Sport Now Africa: be IN Sport / Supersport After a damaging defeat to West Ham and a disappointing draw against Nottingham Forest, Arsenal bounced back in some style as they became the first team in Champions League history to score seven goals away from home in the knockout stages of the competition as they romped to a 7-1 win over PSV Eindhoven. It was a stunning performance from a side that had struggled to find the back of the net in recent weeks and had fallen a massive 13 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool. Mikel Arteta’s side should, therefore, be full of confidence for a game that they simply cannot afford to lose. Arsenal need to be perfect in the run-in and hope that Liverpool suffer a huge blip, meaning victory at Old Trafford is a must. They’ll certainly believe they can get all three points as United have lost a staggering seven league games at home this season. Ruben Amorim’s side may have secured a 3-2 win last time out in the league against struggling Ipswich, but in recent months have lost at home to Crystal Palace, Brighton, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest. Arsenal’s injury problems are well-documented with Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka all sidelined. That means that Arteta is likely to stick with the same front three that tore PSV apart in midweek, with Leandro Trossard on the left, Ethan Nwaneri on the right, and makeshift shorward Mikel Merino in the middle. While the front three pick themselves due to the injury crisis, there is a decision to make at the back. Myles Lewis-Skelly missed the draw with Forest after serving a one-game suspension but was brought back in for the win over PSV. The 18-year-old has impressed but was lucky to avoid a third red card in seven games and was substituted early in the Champions League. Should Arteta decide to rest the young defender, then Riccardo Calafiori, who scored the last of the seven goals against the Dutch side, could start. United also have their fair share of injury problems with Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Altay Bayindir, Luke Shaw, Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez and Toby Collyer all missing out. Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte have been unable to train in recent days after picking up knocks, but they may be fit to feature in some capacity if needed. If neither is able to recover in time then it is likely Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro will start in defence alongside either Victor Lindelof or Noussair Mazraoui. Amorim will also have a decision to make in attack as only one of Rasmus Hojlund or Joshua Zirkzee – both of whom are horribly out of form – is likely to be handed a place in the starting XI.
