Isaac Price gave West Bromwich Albion the lead with his first goal for the club Play-off chasers West Bromwich Albion were forced to settle for a point against Hull City after drawing for the 18th time this season. Isaac Price gave the Baggies a deserved lead when his left-footed volley from the edge of the area went in off the inside of the post. The hosts had earlier come close to breaking the deadlock just after the break when John Swift's shot hit the crossbar. However, sub Abu Kamara drew the Tigers level from Kasey Palmer's knockdown from Lewie Coyle's cross and the away side almost won it late on. Ruben Selles' men came back from a goal down to beat Oxford on Wednesday and almost did it again but Brazilian playmaker Lincoln's effort was brilliantly saved by Joe Wildsmith. Albion, who have drawn more games than anyone else in the top four tiers, are sixth, above Bristol City on goal difference. Despite stretching their unbeaten run to four games, results elsewhere mean Hull slip from five points clear of the relegation places to just three. Tony Mowbray's Albion have not lost any of their past six games but have drawn four of those and will feel they had the chances to have put this beyond the visitors. Mikey Johnston saw a shot saved by Ivor Pandur and Adam Armstrong fired over in a first half the hosts dominated. Swift, who came into the match with two goals in his past three games, hit the bar and Price had a shot saved before the Northern Ireland midfielder finally gave Albion the lead with a controlled volley from 20 yards after the Tigers half-cleared a corner. Price went close again but Hull then equalised with their first shot on target in the match. Coyle's cross into the middle was headed down by one sub in Palmer and bundled in by another in Kamara - and from then on it was the Tigers who looked the more likely winners. Wildsmith made a great stop to keep out an effort from Lincoln and produced another save to deny Kamara. Albion next visit mid-table Norwich after the international break, while Hull host struggling Luton. West Brom boss Tony Mowbray told BBC WM: "We're left frustrated at the end I think. "Ultimately we paid the price for only being 1-0 up. We've got to be more ruthless. We had 16 shots today and only three on target. The percentage is not good enough. "It's been difficult to do the work on the training ground, particularly this week with three games, and I think in the international break there's some scope to work on getting more end product from our possession and play in the final third. "It's a disappointed dressing room and I think rightly so. "We knew Hull would be a team that play on the front foot and be aggressive - when you look at where they are in the table they're better than that. " Hull City boss Ruben Selles told BBC Radio Humberside: "West Brom are a really good team and a really tough opponent and I think we were as competitive as them today. "They were more in control in the first half and we were suffering in some defensive moments but we came back in the second half even though we conceded a goal and we ended the game creating chances. "I think it was a fair point. We could have lost it but we could have won it. We'll take the point and move forward. "The substitutions gave us something different. The squad wants to work together and everyone is giving everything.
